Sarabell´s 15 years later - first time on property PTR

OMG, I feel like I´m going to have a heart attack!! This is my very first Pre trip report.

Today, after 3 years of dreaming and planning, I finally got to put my finger on a date. It´s now official people, trip planning is on! We were waiting for my sister to get her school calendar for next semester and she got it today, so we can start making some dreams come true now.
Our dates: September 19th through 24th :sohappy: I´ll be staying on property for the first time! my mom and sister have stayed before, which is funny cause I´m the WDW freak in the family, and they have been to WDW more times than I have. My last trip was in 1996.

As I have said before (in about a million other threads) I´ll be going wih my mom (Angela) and sister (Paula, 24). Here´s a pic

The booking part will be taking place later today. Paula asked me to wait for her to book because she wants the three of us to do it together, so I´ll be a good sis and wait till she gets home from work. We´ll be staying at All Starts Movies for the first part of our trip (the disney part) and then on the 24th we´ll be moving to some other place, we don´t know where yet for the rest of the trip. We´ll be visiting IOA, US, Sea World and Busch Gardens also.

We have a lot of planning to do, so I´ll keep you posted on the trip planning development. If you saw mw right now, you´d notice my huge smile that looks kinda like this: :D

Did I mention I feel like my heart is gonna explode?

Hurray for a new trip! :sohappy: I'm so excited for you. I just know you're going to have a total blast. There's just nothing like staying on property. And the planning is so much fun too. Can't wait to hear all the details! :)

I really can´t believe the staying on property part! I though I wouldn´t be able to do that! thank you Disney for speciall offers! We couldn´t book today cause apparently my cousin wants to join us, so we´ll have to wait for her to make up er mind (she´d better do it by tomorrow or she´s out!)

I will definitely be posting a very detailed, full of pics trip report!

Congrats!

I love planning my family's Disney vacations. I find the planning and anticipation to be almost as fun as the trip itself. When I woke up at 4:45 am 180 days out to plan our current trip, my wife about died. She wishes she had the same power to wake me up in the morning that Disney does.

Planning a Disney trip is always soooo much fun!! We've stayed at the All Star Movie previously and we enjoyed it.

I totally agree! I don´t know what I love more, the whole planning or the trip itself! I´m really looking forward to All Star Movies, although if I could afford it it would be the Poly... but ok, I can always dream and starve for at least 10 years to stay there sometime :lookaroun

I really hope so. The three of us really love WDW and this will be our celebration of our new family (we always went with my dad but he and my mom are not together anymore). I´m so glad I´ll get to do this trip with the two people I love the most, I know we´ll have the best time!

Congrats!

LOL! I totally understand you, Disney has the power to keep me awake also, and I am a hard core sleeper! During this whole planning process I usually go to bed really late or wake up really early to go online and plan some more.

Thanks a lot Holly! although I´m kinda bummed cause I don´t get to stay at the Poly. I´ve always been drawn to that hotel for some reason... I´ll wait and see if I can find a Brett who will love WDW as much as I do and surprise me with a stay there (a girl can always hope for something like that right?)

Oh, and you´re totally welcome to stalk my TR, after all, I´ve completely stalked yours!:p

I BOOKED LAST NIGHT!! It´s now a fact, we´re going to WDW!

It ended up taking longer than expected to book cause we had to wait for my dad to let us borrow his US credit card, but last night we finally booked our vacation.

Remember how I said I was gonna be a good sis and wait for my sister so the three of us could book? well I wasn´t such a good sis in the end. My sister went last night to watch the final game of the national soccer championship (which our team totally won!) and I booked while she was gone. My heart was pounding and I felt like I was gonna :hurl: so I requested my mom´s moral support and I texted my sis to let her know we were doing it. She called me a few minutes later to make sure everything was booked and to squeal along with me which we did for several minutes.

Sadly there will be no exciting ADRs to make cause we´re on the quick service dining plan, but I was talking to my mom last night about how much we love the Poly and we decided that some day we´ll stay there and have ADRs to make. It´s a promise! (plus we´re already thinking of a future trip without even making this one which makes me even happier!)

here´s our plan for the parks in case you´re interested:
09/19 we fly from MIA to MCO and get to Disney´s All Star Movies via ME (yay!) we´ll probably go to bed really late and not get much sleep cause we can´t believe we are in WDW!
09/20 Hollywood Studios
09/21 Magic Kingdom
09/22 Epcot
09/23 Animal Kingdom and then later DTD and maybe some touring through the hotels
Our WDW vacation ends here and then it´s the rest of the Orlando theme parks
09/24 this will be our day off cause we have to switch hotels so we´ll do some shopping
09/25 Sea World
09/26 Universal Studios
09/27 Islands of Adventure (can´t wait to see the WWOHP)
09/28 Busch Gardens in Tampa
09/29 We go back to Miami for another 2 weeks of fun with the family we have there.

Well, that´s all for now. If I have any more interesting planning info I´ll get back to you.

we arrive on the day you are leaving. looks like you have a great trip planned, we love Busch Gardens in Tampa.
We love it too! although I´m a little concerned about getting motion sickness... I haven´t been on a rollercoaster in 15 years! let´s hope ot goes well cause I love thrill rides!

Congrats on getting your trip booked!!! :sohappy: Looks like an GREAT plan for the trip!!!
Thanks! I can´t wait. just 2 more months and we´ll be in Orlando!

WWOHP is AMAZING and I'm not even a HP fan!! The ride is outstanding!! If you like thrill rides/motion simulator type rides, you'll love it! :)
I´m a HP freak! other than WDW, HP is one of the things I´m really looking forward to.

OK! everything is paid for, except tickets from Colombia to Miami cause they´re crazy expensive, but we´ll have to buy them eventually so my guess is by the end of next week we´ll have them.

We would be packing right this second, but we would probably be put in a mental institution if we did so, but we´re so excited that we want it to be September already. I was even willing to skip my birthday which was last week, but I guess you can´t escape from getting older

did I say I CAN´T WAIT!!! (?)

SOOOO CLOOOSE!!!

My vacation officially starts tomorrow (today as it´s now almost 1 am).. My mom and I are flying to Miami and we´ll stay there till the 19th when my sister arrives and all 3 of us fly to Orlando (darn school calendar! how dare them!! to keep us waiting for another 11 days is just so mean and not polite! )

OK, point is I´m sooo excited!! I´m not even slightly sleepy and I have to wake up in 4 hours... I guess I´d better go to bed now...:hammer:
