New Land in WS to the left of France will be Atlantis. At least this will explain why it is underwater.
think he was talking about the other left (or the left that the rest of were thinking of anyway). :dazzle:

Nevermind all the rumors, I couldn't get past thinking "How does a CM have time for an hour long conversation with a guest?"
The pavilions are not necessarily funded by the national government of their respective countries. The pavilion could be paid for by corporate sponsors or even just Disney if they really wanted the pavilion. No chance Greece would sponsor a pavilion. They are in such financial turmoil they could not afford to even send someone to Disney for free.
* There will be more changes to Fantasyland that haven't even been announced yet: "many" new restaurants in the new section, and updated or brand new rides where old ones are removed. (This is pretty much not a new rumor, because we know which rides are leaving and what new ones or changed ones are going in.)
I have always assumed that you CMs meet triannually in an undisclosed location to come up with a new set of outlandish rumors to release on an unsuspecting public.:lol:It's fun to see funny rumors like this pop up. Where do people come up with this stuff?
I once had a CM tell me that Walt's first cartoon character before Mickey was
Felix the Cat.

That is not an entirely unreasonable mistake for somebody to make. Julius does bear a rather strong resemblance to Felix, one that probably borders on infringement.i only read threads like these for the "a CM once told me..." jokes. they make my day.
Here's a rule I always follow:
Never trust what a cast member says. They are more clueless than the person in your avatar.
Complete and utter nonsense.![]()
Since when is Aladdin Moroccan? He's Chinese in One Thousand and One Nights and in the Disney film he's Iraqi.
Just sayin'.

The water is to the right. :wave:To the left, of France in the water?

If the story is indeed true, where in the OP did it say the CM was on duty????Really, I have to place the blame on WDW management for this type of thing. Disney is quite clearly not training their front-line hourly CM's correctly for the 21st century and/or they have very poor front-line management of those hourly CM's. It's also apparent they don't have a clear policy in place about lying to paying customers when they should be working as a gracious pavilion host or hostess, or if there is such a policy it is not being enforced. This CM spoke to guests for "an hour-long chat" about all these lies, and no supervisor stopped him or stepped in? There was no other work to be done, or other guests to serve for an hour???
Shouldn't a CM at the France pavilion only be talking to guests about French culture and aspects of their pavilion??? Where the heck is the manager there??? :veryconfu
