Not easy for guests to do when the Riverboat is down. It was for my trip to MK over the weekend and any other areas including Tom Sawyer's Island and along the facade itself all you get is the dark scrim.

I think they're supposed to be Bluebeard's wives...there's this old fable about a guy named Bluebeard who married this girl, took her to his castle and warned her not to go into certain rooms..of course she did and she found them full of blood and his dead wives...nasty story.

The sea captain was really only tied to DL's HM because of New Orleans and the nearby POTC. Long Forgotten has a whole blog entry about this.
