FWIW, if you opt to have some cold cuts during your trip, you're probably better off going to places that do a better job keeping the meats cool/cold when not sliced for a sandwich, like Earl of Sandwich's. Avoid lunch meats at buffets. It's a relatively small risk for expectant mothers in the grand scheme of things, but if you have options of other things to eat (and we're not talking about just bland boring foods either), then why not?

Thank you MattyFresh! I think we will be spending a lot of time at the pool when we get too hot. As you already know it's pretty hot in NC as it is. I guess we should be used to it.

I don't think the heat here will ever get you ready for that oh so wonderful Florida humidity......but does sound like you have a good plan to beat the heat
