Price drops at the Pirate's league

I dunno... I just feel like there more girls that are ready to be a princess than boys are ready to dress like a pirate.

Why couldn't they have done all that in January??? I spent the $129.99 for the Captain's Package. I guess what it no longer includes the pictures either which I thought were awesome. I'm sure if the package inclusions aren't enough there will be plenty of full costumes and accessories nearby to rack up the price. I thought the experience was a ton of fun with my youngest. He loved it and enjoyed every moment of his day as "David Starcastle"! LOL!

Every CM who was there to do the pirate transformations kept their chair occupied the entire time we were there on January 16th. Seemed busy enough. There were empty chairs but that's because there were no CM's to "man" the chairs. We actually had slim-pickins to choose from when we made my son's appointment earlier on in the week.

I like that news...my daughter and I are going down next week and are getting the pirate "treatment". I like it even better now that we'll save $40!
She's done the BBB and has kind of outgrown the princess thing and is looking forward to this, even tho it's kind of a pirate princess.

Ok. Works for me. I honestly haven't seen the place, but from what I heard it has been dead. If you say it was busy then I believe ya... I don't want you to block me from your next trip report... :lookaroun

It was as busy as it could've been. More than half of the make-over chairs didn't have CM's to work them. The ones who were working were steady while we were there. Maybe they haven't been busy enough to have a full staff but it seemed like they could've been doing more with how busy the area was if they'd had more staff. And this was a Saturday morning around 11-ish.

I hope the pictures they gave us don't go away. That's Mom's souvenir!

My sister works there and she has said they have had low bookings so all their hours were cut back. That's why you didn't see as many CMs working. I finally met her there and walked through it, and must admit it is a pretty clever set-up. I was a bit of a skeptic until I saw it.

It was actually an Imagineering idea and there is a secret panel to get to the treasure and all.

Well, that price drop just sealed the deal. I had been hesitating to book it because it's just a short trip and we like to spend our fun money on other things, but I think we'll do it together!

Because it`s taken this long for park suits to admit the idea wasn`t so bright afterall.

Hmmm, this must be a last-ditch effort not to shut it down, something that's been discussed since December.

Sadly, many of the beautiful decorations lining the ceiling were already there from the old Arcade days.

Now that I think about it, the stores in Adventureland were MUCH more elaborate before the Aladdin took over the main area. You don't want to see backstage behind the bazaar; everything is still there.
