We got sucked into watching this show after the Super Bowl and it was pretty interesting. Anyone think we would see Bob Iger on a show like this, outside the fact that it's on CBS and not ABC?

I own my own company and we are small enough that I am still "in the trenches" on a daily basis but I do think that there are a lot of CEO's who need to come down from the ivory tower and see how their policies, payscales. and management effect the folks who REALLY make the money. It was a really well done show. I see they are doing the CEO of Hooters next week....that should be interesting.

Even better they should take CEO's of the large finance and investment companies and make them live off of minimum wages or place them just on the brink of squeeking by at the end of a long career and then cause their retirement to take a dump....sorry just venting.

Wouldn't it have been ironic if he worked as a CM at EPCOT this winter?
"Excuse me sir, but why have the Lights of Winter been canceled this year? Our family was really looking forward to the beautiful display."
"Um, you''ll have to contact our corporate offices. I really have no answer for that" :lookaroun

I would really like to hear from a CM on this subject, yes it would be a GOOD thing for one to come into the trenches on times when Pop Warner or Brazilian or just something very wrong hits anywhere in the parks.

The show is a neat concept but highly far fetched. Nothing will come out of it and the CEOs will go back to see how much more they can squeeze our of their employees. I only saw a few minutes of it last night. It was when his boss told him about picking up a bag every ten minutes and the next part with the girl with 3 families in the house. If he did give the girl more money or something, it was only done for face and preplanned before filming.

If any CEO could see the entire picture of their decisions other than how much more money it pays them, then things would be vastly different for US companies. It simply will not happen.

I actually think all company CEOs and COOs should do this.

As they said last night, he had never worked in the field and that was his first time actually doing the jobs that he's in charge of.

It is a good premise and I hope that it will make some changes for the companies that partake in this experiemnt.

im glad he made it right for that girl whos home was being sold cause she wasnt making enough money.

not to seem like a racist bast*&%, but this just goes to show how WE, the people who were born here and whos families have lived here for generations are the minority when a indian can come here and live tax free for 10 years making as much money as possible with the option to go back to india at the end. idk what its like in other states but here in jersey they cant even speak english, they take over ENTIRE towns, (literally,) live in multy-million doller homes, and own all the small buisnesses, 7-11, quick-chek, dunkin-donuts, gas stations, etc, etc, etc.

When I was working at Studios we had an event called Cast Member Night where the area you worked in was open past operating hours and your managers dressed in your costumes and operated the rides.

It was a lot of fun but our managers work just as hard as we do. It would have been nicer to see the corporate kiss a** come down and work our attraction for the day. I don't think any CM would be opposed to having higher wages either.

Anyways, I now have a new found respect for my garbageman, good show!

Seeing how as at one point Bob Iger was a Jungle Cruise skipper while he was in college, yeah, I think he would love it!
