So, this girl that threatened to punch Abby said it again to her face at school today....Abby went to the principal. He said he would call this girl down to the office tomorrow morning....I think I'll give him a call, just to pass a message on....hit my daughter, I'm pressing charges.

Wow...terrible.

What brought it all back up again? It had been quiet for a while, right?

What brought it all back up again? It had been quiet for a while, right?

The one last fall was a different girl....this is someone else....chronic liar, I'm sorry to say it, but meets the stereotype of trailer park trash...how she latched on to Abby in the first place is a mystery, but Abby got sick of her lies to everyone and basically called her on it. Now she's accusing Abby of spreading rumors about her. Abby, however, has completely ignored her as much as she can at school and deleted all contact info from computer and cell phone. This girl is the one doing the harassing.

DH doesn't want to go anywhere for the Superbowl. He is dead set on watching the game on OUR tv! So we'll be at home with a big pot of chili. I'm sure some other people will come over as we watch the Colts win!

Luckily I never got involved in any of those situations, so I don't have advice, although I wish I did. I think you're doing the right thing though. I'm glad the principal is getting involved and you're right to press charges if she actually hits Abby. So, I think you're on the right track. It just sucks, for sure to have to go through it again.

No plans yet, although possibly going to my parents house. We have plans to go to visit WHF's parents this weekend, but I don't know if that will happen since it is Superbowl weekend now.

But we feel pretty secure at the moment. For whatever reason, it seems the church has really looked to DH as the "main pastor" in this interim time. I think it's been good for him overall.

Well, you could keep her home from school tomorrow, but schedule an appointment with the principal tomorrow, and just go.

You could take her out of school early tomorrow...

Or you could hope it's all talk...and if she does hit her, then, yes, press charges.
