I needed to give some love to Niagara Falls... I went there around a year and a half ago and it was absolutely a trip to remember! Yea, maybe not as good as Disney, but what is? I can honestly say that my trip to Niagara was one of the best I have had. There is sooooo much to do.

Maid of the Mist was absolutely thrilling. It was one of the most intense events I have experienced.(and I have been sky diving)
The Behind the falls tour was fun as well and brings you close to the roaring falls.
There is a walk along the rapids tour that shows some of the worst rapids in our country!
Walking the area is great and you come across a ton of fun places to enjoy: Guinness Book of world records museum, Ripley's museum, Wax museum, 3D motion theater, Rain Forest Cafe, Haunted House and tons more.
The Skylon Tower is a must!! Amazing dinner, fantastic views of the falls while they light up the falls with tons of colors. The tower rotates. A little pricey, but completely worth it!
Butterfly conservatory was cool. There was tons of butterflies hovering around and became some very cools pics.

Those are some of the things I enjoyed when I went there and there are obviously tons of other things to enjoy! This is a place I have been dying to return to ever since I left!

Couldn't agree with you more about Niagara Falls. Yes of course it isn't Disney/Orlando but it might best be described as a mini version of Vegas in a way. I live two hours away from it but to keep the novelty from wearing out I go every year or two and do different things. Yes the Maid of the Mist is amazing. The Journey Behind the Falls is amazing. The Skylon Tower is breathtaking from that height too, and you can see way, way back to where the Falls begins.

But what I love the most is being close to the Falls. Watching that sheer power go right over the falls at a rapid pace. Getting really close to the edge of the Falls and just watching it. Amazing.

By the way you said you hit the Haunted Houses? Which ones? There are quite a few but the true scary ones are either Screamers or Nightmares. They scare the pants off of you.
