The previously released artwork is on the bottom. The most obvious change is that the newer artwork is much darker, but there are other, more subtle changes. "The Little Mermaid" show building is much more well-defined, and there are less waterfalls on the facade of the building. The Cinderella/Aurora facade is also more defined, as well as the trees. The building in front of the Belle attraction, (a restroom?) has less vegetation, and an "island" in the pathway is gone.

Not globe-stopping, but news enough. Thoughts?

it would be neat if they release views from a different angle, especially the stuff where Toontown Fair is

Looks nice enough. But artwork usually does.

The finished product is what matters. And who knows how much more money will come out of the budget before it is done?

This isn't DCA where John Lasseter stepped in and made sure money was ADDED.

The original pricetag was $750 million ... and the last figure I heard was a tad over $400 million. That should be enough to deliver what's been promised, but a lot can happen between now and 2011-14.

Nice, looks great and this is important confirmation. The building behind the chateau is rather massive. And that looks more like a roller coaster loop than ever.

Thanks!

That is extremely dismaying. If it has been cut by that much already, I can't imagine what they'll cut out next time.

Why is the Cinderella sb so big? Is it just gonna be that big or is there even more there that we can't see? :D

I'm guessing that is partly an exit shop for cindy but is mostly a building that is themed to Mermaid as it faces and is a part of that "land". So it could also have shops/eateries and support facilities that are themed to LM. This truly is an expansion of the MK and adds quite a large area to the park.

I have to believe that $750 price tag included at least one more major attraction.

Consider this: in 1995 dollars Disneyland Indiana Jones Attraction cost $100m. That's $140m in today's dollars. With $750m could go out tomorrow and buy over five Indiana Jones Adventures. $450m could buy you over three IJAs or the entire HKDL expansion (Mystic Manor, Grizzly Peak, Adventurer's Club, Toy Storyland, etc.)...

Universal is reportedly spending $270-$300m on its entire Harry Potter expansion. I can't see how the Fantasyland expansion could cost that much more than what is being done at IOA.

So my question is... how official is the $450m number? What is its source?
