Honestly, yes.
We have what makes DLP's FLand amazing: LANDSCAPING and ARCHITECTURE.
Agreed, all we need is some retheming or some simple refurbishing on the existing FYL and it'll be perfect. I mean come on, which other FYL has such intricate landscaping and architecture like what's coming on the FYL expansion.

I am very much looking forward to the expansion and hope it will be finished by the time we go back with a 4 year old! :sohappy:

In terms of rides and quantity? Nope. DL and DLP have that down.
However...
In terms of depth, scope, theme and architecture...I think we have it in the bag.:sohappy:

I think its really hard to say we will have the "best" Fantasyland at WDW -- I think it will have some unique features the others don't have...
But to those of us who have been to Disneyland Paris, you know that there is no way they can recreate that type of realism, architecture, and landscaping -- it's really quite special. They also have many unique attractions we don't have at WDW -- Casey's roller coaster train; the boatride; the maze; the ferris wheel. It would also be cost prohibitive to try to recreate any of it at WDW.
I look forward to the new Fantasyland at WDW, but DLP will always have the prettier one.

No but it will be close imo The Matterhorn puts DL'S FL over WDW.

The theming will still be better in DL and it is a thrill ride WDW will not have one in FL.

I'd take the awesome near death experience of the Matterhorn over the lame near death experience of MK's Space Mountain any day.:lol:

We have the Matterhorn on crack: Everest. And it isn't even bumpy

Agreed. I just don't think I would want Cinderella Castle and to its right some huge mountain:shrug:. I'd rather have their Small World or their FYL village theme for our existing FYL. Plus, we already have Expedition Everest which looks just like the Matterhorn except EE is on steroids.
