I know it's over but I was wondering what the dates were and also if this is the first time that they have offered this time of the year?

Yes, it was offered last year because I was able to take advantage of it for my trip the 3rd week of December. Not sure of the time frame it was good for last year, but I know it was offered to Disney Visa holders first.

In October-December 2008 it was only available to Disney VISA holders and those who got a PIN. It wasn't offered to the public in 2008, just 2009.

black out dates

Well I got a pin code back in March or so...it was for the room, tickets AND the Disney dining plan....does that count as free if it's bundled? LOL

I ended up calling WDW-Dine and they told me the black out dates for Thansgiving are Nov. 25-28.

For us since we are going to be there Nov. 21-30. I think folks will take advantage of the free dining Nov. 21-24 pre-Tday and then pay dining for the 25-28. I was just hoping the crowds would at least be low the first days while we were there and the crowds would start to arrive on the 25.

Yes the holidays are usually black out dates. Did someone ask for the dates? I don't recall seeing that.

Pam

Does that mean that you just won't get free dining on those specific days if your trip starts and ends outside the blackout period, or will they just not take your reservation for the blackout period???

Would that cause you to make 3 seperate reservations???

One a few days before, during the blackout, and a third after???

Or is the blackout just in reference to check in dates like the old seasonal rates???
