I wonder how some people would answer this question.

Some may say Test Track, some may say Star Tours, some may say Ellens Energy Adventure...

Just curious how some may interpret this question.

The reason I ask stems from a friend of mine asking why I just don't go to a roller coaster park nearby where I live instead of going all the way down to florida.

Its hard to answer that question, but part of the explanation comes from how you can easily answer that question at a park with all roller coasters. But when it comes to Disney World, there can be alot of different answers, all correct in their own way. Understanding that is a good way to explain why going there is so different from just a normal roller coaster park.

Ellen's fast?? uhhhh, well maybe if 45 minutes is fast, then yea!

There are two ways to look at it i think. Fast as in thrill speed and fast as in time on the ride. In a roller coaster park, you get more wait time, less ride. In Disney most of the time you get more ride than wait. I think its worth it to go to Florida! Disney doesn't have the fastest thrill rides, but fast enough to get by!

I don't think people are getting my point. Why isn't Star Tours the fastest? Don't you go light speed in Star Tours?

In Ellen's Energy Adventure, don't you go waaaay back in time, and teleport places instantly? Wouldn't that be even faster than light speed.

My point is that a question like that is easy at a roller coaster park, but at Disney, there is so much variety, you could argue all of those and have valid points for all of them.

Yes, I know that Test Track is the fastest, but I was hoping for a bit more of a philosophical discussion.

You can't go back millions of years or to Endor at Cedar Point or Six Flags, can you?

If I remember right the fast ride are the buses to and from the park, but that's only if your on the 417 or 408 toll roads:D. All joking aside I would have to say its a tie between Test Track and Rockin Roller Coaster, ooh or Space Ship Earth(could help myself:lol:).

No trip to Endor or Ellen's apartment, but Top Thrill Dragster was one HELLUVA ride! Plus, Famous Dave's is right there on the pier. Which is as close to good BBQ as you can get in Ohio, or anywhere else in the North for that matter.
