Eh...Epcot94 and Inno really had potential, if you ask me. They just gave up, too soon.:(

You mean with the video games? Yes, they did. Sonic DOES NOT belong anywhere in EPCOT! :fork:

I meant with all the different companies and exhibits. Lego, Apple, IBM....It would have been cool to take the CommuniCore approach to it..

Oh, THAT approach! The technology applicable for the future approach! :animwink:

What exactly was Lego there for anyway? It seemed Innoventions94 had the most random companies compiled together...

Welll....Yeah...::lol:;)

Lego? No idea. Maybe it was MindStorms, since that was kinda techy. All I know is that Lego was once part of EPCOT and that makes it awesome. :D:lol:

*loves his Lego Bricks*:p

I think Innoventions does it's mission well.

I can honestly say, that I have no opinion on it now...:shrug: It's just there for me. Wandered around last trip after I went to the EPCOT C25 Gallery (only reason I was there) and nothing really does it for me.:shrug:

IMHO...Not a good thing to be in a park that costs 70 bucks to get into!

Nooo....Not AT ALL.:fork::ROFLOL:

Hey! Nuts to you two! I don't have to take this kind of abuse. That area was the best when they had all those consoles lined up. I remember seeing the Dreamcast there for the first time, playing Echo the Dolphin.
SEGA heyday was an amazing time. It did get worse in it's later years, but was fantastic in it's prime.

:D

Sonic is always welcome at MY Epcot. Thousand times Better than a few crummy Disney games.

I completely agree. The SEGAs were a great way to pass the afternoon thunderstorm.

Some of the exhibits maybe, but not the design or flow. If anything, Innoventions is a dark, confusing Communicore wannabe.

Put Innoventions exhibits into Communicore's layout and aesthetics and you have FW central perfection. Maybe for Innoventions 4.0 (which will be what another 5-8 yrs?) they'll do that.:D

3.0 isn't even completed and you are talking about 4.0.:shrug:

I'm sorry if it seems a little confusing, I just figured that it was a safe assumption that neither Communicore's aesthetics or layout were returning with Innoventions 3.0 (or would it be more like 2.5?) Plus, I thought that for the most part, the latest Innoventions change was complete.*

* - excluding the continually changing lineup of exhibits.

Why bring back Communicores aesthetics?:confused: Epcot is about moving forward.:animwink:

Do you have something against windows and clean, bright color schemes? ;) I mean I wouldn't advocate bringing back the aesthetics completely (there are some things that should just be left in the 80s:lol:) but there are some parts that worked quite well.

Exactly. Aren't sleek lines and natural light and high windows and ceilings the "in" thing to do now? Everyone says natural light and glass is great for buildings. Kinda odd Epcot and Innoventions are the exact opposite of that right now. :shrug:
