WDW Travelwear :)

Okay so I better not be the only one who plans travelwear for their trip to WDW. While packing for your WDW trip do you always set aside your travel clothes that you wear every year? It may not be the same every year but for me I usually have some comfortable stuff to be in and then some nice things that I know I want to wear. Something like a t-shirt and sweat shorts or cami and skort for the plane and then all shorts and t-shirts or cami's for the actual trip.. so what is your travelwear?

Linen pants.
I have two pairs of very lightweight linen pants that are only for WDW. A lot of my lightweight clothes are set aside each year for my trip.

I may be in the minority but I tend to do only skirts and dresses especially for my Spring/summer trips. I'll probably pack 2 short dresses, 2 long dresses, 2 short skirts, 2 long skirts 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of jeans for my trip in August.

I just find them more comfortable and cool. not that kind of cool...just breezy, you know :animwink:

I usually pack a dress, skirt, jeans and yoga pants. We drive and the yoga pants are so comfortable to wear. I also pack flip-flops, nice pair of dress sandals and sneakers. I always bring a light weight sweater and tee shirts and a few nicer tops. The nice stuff tends to be for dinners. Other than that its all about being on vacation and comfort.:)

The time of year we tend to go I pack things for hot to cold. I mainly like to wear capris or jeans with a t-shirt and sneakers. That way I am comfy outside walking and inside cold rides. I do set aside nice clothes for the kids so they stay new for the trip. I plan all of our outfits ahead of time so that we all coordinate for photos. I am a bit OCD anyway. I already have our outfits tenatively planned out and our next trip is not for months. :D

My family usually goes during the summer. I pack running shoes, flip flops, swimsuits, tank tops, a dress and running shorts (they dry out quickly if wet). Summer clothing doesn't take up much room. When I went in March I didn't know what to pack. I had clothing for 40 degrees, as well as shorts and tank tops. I wore the shorts. The 80 degree weather started the week we were there.

As we always come in the winter, we bring both shorts and jeans, tees as well as some sweatshirts and a jacket! Always bring 2 pair of shoes and alternate days with them.

We travel to in August so we usually plan for the heat. For travel, it's always jeans and a t-shirt - I freeze! Then I always back some shorts and warm, comfy shirts plus something nice to wear for a nice dinner one night. It never ceases to fail that for my DH, he packs nothing but Dallas Cowboys t-shirts for our Disney trips! Each trip of pictures, there he is in something Cowboys.

Glad I am not the only one that plans outfits well in advance, lol. I pick up a new tee or 2 for my 3 younger kids every time I go to the Disney Store in the months prior to our trip and I pack them away. I don't coordinate everyone (there are 6 of us) but my 2 younger boys and my daughter almost always coordinate. For summer trips I stick to shorts, tees, flip flops and sneakers, when we go back to our resort for a nap midday I change them into polos and a sundress for our nighttime ADR's (gotta look cute for pictures, lol). As far as my older son 13 and my husband I pack their clothes but don't make them wear a particular outfit for each day (I'm not that , lol).

Traveling from ND in October we are covered if the weather is chilly with our travel clothes. Jeans & Jackets. For the length of stay we pack shorts and tshirts, polos or tank tops. Shorts that dry fast for our day(s) at AK and MK for the water rides:)

I got a smile on my face when I saw this thread!!! I am so glad that I am not the only person who does this!!! My travel day attire usually varies on the season, but my son usually rocks his Eagles and Phillies gear!!!! And I well, look like a rolled out of bed!! I like to be comfy on the plane ride!

Honey, you are in good company on this site! I've gotten some GREAT tips from some wonderful people on here about packing, the types of clothes, etc.

I ALWAYS travel in linen pants. I have long pants and capris that I can dress up or dress down. They are by far the most comfortable clothes you can get that still look good if you have to be in public at anytime. I put on a simple cami with a light sweater or something over it. In the car, I take off the sweater and am very comfy. **A couple of bits of advice: 1. wear slip on shoes. even if you are flying, it makes taking a nap much easier if you can just slip them off; 2. This is something I do (got it from someone on here) - I pack individual outfits in gallon ziplock bags. Makes packing and getting dressed while you are there SO much easier -- especially if you have kids.

Hope this helps!

I own 100+ Disney Related t-shirts....so I pick out around 20 of the clean ones hahha x)
As for dress clothes...I generally end up spending $100's in Polo Ralph Lauren each year while down in Florida (we dont have Polo stores in Canada and I <3 em)
Short wise I generally wear plaid shorts and have a pair of useful cargo shorts.
Hats...I usualy bring one good golf realated hat.
Bathingsuits....This year I brought my ed hardy bathing suit.
Sunglasses....I always bring the Ray Bans.

I have my favorites that I wear every year. We go in July, so it's shirts, shorts, and capris. I also bring zippered sweatshirts for the room, since we often get caught in afternoon rain storms and get cold from the air conditioning.

Congrats on the win this year!

When we met Tigger last summer, when my DH walked up in his Cowboy shirt, Tigger started running around like he had a football and then spiked the ball for a touchdown. Cracked us up!
