Star Tours, Princesses, Mermaid, DC gate, Pop Century, and more... Oh My!

Makes sense and it sounds like the LM entrance will definitely be near the current LM meet n greet. I really hope they can create the effect that you are walking into a forest but you are actually entering a show building for the EF area. Mermaid Lagoon is perfect at this type effect. As is "The Seas" at Epcot. That queue is amazing. You almost feel like you should hold your breath as you walk through it. Imagineering at their best.

I would actually hope that that entire area is redone. Take some hints from Tokyo DisneySea's Mermaid Lagoon...you could have a lovely addition to Fantasyland, with new architecture....architecture that would hopefully lead the way for the rest of the land.:D

Or course, they could do Eric's castle, too.

If we're lucky, we'll get a whole land like in Tokyo for TLM, but I don't have my hopes up. But a Santa land? Wouldn't that be weird in, like, July?

Not any weirder than having Wintersummerland Mini golf. Or Holidayland in Santa Claus, Indiana during July. But honestly, a Santa land in MK may not be a good fit.

I think FL will be almost unrecognizeable to todays version if all this happens. I saw some hi-res pics of what DL's FL is looking like yesterday and some of the refurbished stuff is better than Tokyo. Absolutely amazing detail. I'll try to post a link.

I had only heard the rumor once and it seemed odd. But an indoor "cool area" should be a goal at every park. If Disney ever does a major animated feature about Santa/North Pole stuff, I'm sure it would be considered.

Santa Clause is an "intellectual property" just sitting there doing nothing that Disney could reimagine rather profitably. :xmas:

Yeah, I think I liked the queue for Nemo more than the ride :)

You know, I can totally see that inside Fairytale Forest. Hmm, let's hope that the blue sky planning turns into even bigger additions. (nah, TDO won't allow anything that makes sense to happen.)

First of all, excellent signature jt.

Second of all, I don't know if I really like this EF idea, especially if it takes up the rest of the 20K plot after Mermaid. I'd rather keep it for another E-ticket, rather than a big meet and greet area, which EF sounds like to me.
