So, they basically took the Blue Sky/ Future Plans list and published it.:lookaroun:lol:

It would be nice, but seeing current developments...Later than sooner? I hope I'm wrong, though.:D I could be...:D

The article makes it sound like they are thinking of getting rid of the Carousel. Why would they want to do that (unless it making this "courtyard" a place to sell merch)?

It's going to be a DVC experience. They will replace each scene in CoP with a mockup of the different rooms/resorts available. :lookaroun

Sounds to me like they are trying to rework the traffic flow. Seems to be a serious conflict/bottleneck between the carousel and Philharmagic. Even on light days all it takes is a family to stop right in the middle and the whole area becomes wall-to-wall people. In my opinion, part of the problem is the stroller parking in front of Phil. It juts right out into the pathway.

Not much new info. I had forgotten about the Animation makeover for Pop Century. I'll be sure to add that to the Rumored projects thread shortly.

For Disneyland's redo of Fantasyland in 1983 they relocated the carousel (and teacups and Dumbo). I'd really, really hate for them to get rid of it completely because I think MK's short enough on attractions as is and it's such a beautiful structure to begin with.

Putting shrubbery around it sounds nice, but they could move it where Dumbo is now and shift that attraction further back to where Pooh's playground is.

Yeah, but then you would loose the classic" I can see the pretty lights of the carousel through the castle" look.
:lookaroun:lol:

They could easily move Dumbo, though...if something else wasn't in that area.

All sounds fantastic, especially Star Tours. I really do hope this comes true except for ONE thing.

I don't like the Fantaseyland expansion plans. Why expand into toontown? They have all that 20k space. Besides, I don't wan to see toontown go so I can hold out hope for the possibility of getting a toon town similar to DL's.

I'm well aware of that look and would like to keep it but if it means keeping the Carousel than so be it.

Maybe they can make this courtyard like Pixie Hollow at DL and have a nighttime show?
