Hey guys I am about one week until making my adrs for my trip in September. I had all of my adrs decided on and now I am starting to second guess some of them. Here is what I have so far. Any suggestions/comments would greatly be appreciated:

MON Sept 14th: California Grill for wishes
TUES Sept 15th: breakfast at whispering canyon and dinner at Canada
WED Sept 16th: breakfast at crystal palace and dinner at Artist Point
THURS Sept 17th: breakfast at tusker house and dinner at paradiso 37
FRI Sept 18th: breakfast in bed and dinner at kona cafe
SAT Sept 19th: breakfast a Norway and dinner in Mexico
SUN Sept 20th: going home :(

(I am staying at Wilderness Lodge and Wed is the girlfriends birthday. We typically like mexican, italian, and steak houses when we go out to eat.)

Also I can't seem to find any good italian restaraunts. We were thinking mama melrose for fantasmic priority seating or portabello instead of paradiso. I am undecided if I should keep kona cafe or try something at the grand floridian. I appreciate any help you can give me.

I think you have made some great choices. I love the Kona cafe, so I would keep that over something at the GF. I think Artist's Point is a great choice for a birthday dinner.
I don't think there are any great Italian resturants. The Italian restaurants on property are mediocre.

Yeah, the only Italian place that I can think of is Tutto Italia in Epcot. I have been wanting to try it, but have not yet so I don't know how great the food is. It is actually one of my back up ressies in case I can not get my first choices for my Sept. trip.

MON Sept 14th:
California Grill - heard it's great

TUES Sept 15th:
Whipering Canyon breakfast - dinner there is great, so breakfast probably is too
LeCellier dinner - great choice

WED Sept 16th:
Crystal Palace breakfast - dinner there is great, so breakfast probably is too
Artist Point dinner - heard it's nice

THURS Sept 17th:
Tusker House breakfast - ate Donald's Safari breakfast before it moved to Tusker house (booked this one for our Sept. trip)
Paradiso 37 dinner - never eaten there

FRI Sept 18th:
breakfast in bed - sounds relaxing
Kona Cafe' dinner - never eaten there
(suggestion - Ohana's for breakfast or dinner is great)

SAT Sept 19th:
Princess Storybook breakfast - dinner there is great, so breakfast is probably great too
dinner in Mexico - never eaten there, but every time we go into the Mexico pavillion, it smells delicious

Looks like you have the Mexican & steak places covered.
For Italian, you could try Tony's Town Square at the MK (we have only had breakfast there though).
We tried to get Mama Melrose for our Sept. trip w/ the Fantasmic pkg., but it was all booked up. I have been calling to ck. for an opening every day since I booked our ADRs. Hopefully something will come open. We have never eaten there, but we have heard that it is good.

If you decide to try something at the Grand Floridian, 1900 Park Fare for dinner is nice. We are trying the breakfast there in Sept.

Since you are staying at the WL, you may want to try Whispering Canyon for dinner - it's delicious & entertaining.
The Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show at Ft. Wilderness is lots of fun!

Hope this helps!

Though it comes in the middle of the day, I'd suggest taking in High Tea at the Grand Floridian. They have GREAT tea (try the Eros!!!) and really enjoyable "small" meals.

You can always check out the menu at allearsnet.com to see what is offered.

My 2 cents....

Thanks for the help everyone. The tea at grand floridian sounds nice since I plan on getting a massage for the girlfriend on her birthday Wednesday. That is also why I was thinking of changing kona cafe to something at the floridian since we are already there. Has anyone here eaten at paradiso 37? I can't decide if I should eat there or just go for the tequila.....

I can see that you're from Chicago . . do not go to Mexico. You will not like it. It does not taste remotely authentic, and you will be disappointed. I'd try Paradiso 37, though - the company that runs the restaurant owns Timpano's in Naperville, and that place is top-notch.

Les Chefs de France is a good alternative, as well as Coral Reef.

MON Sept 14th: California Grill for wishes--Best restaurant on property.

TUES Sept 15th: breakfast at whispering canyon--never eaten here.

and dinner at Canada--try the Cheddar Cheese Soup.

WED Sept 16th: breakfast at crystal palace--never been myself but Mrs. Groundhog likes it.

and dinner at Artist Point--was disappointed with this when I went, but you have to eat there if you are staying at WL.

THURS Sept 17th: breakfast at tusker house--food is excellent. However, do not do this on a day that AK has Extra Magic Hours because they do not let Tusker House breakfast reservations into the park early. Therefore, they are running behind and the characters are rushed.

and dinner at paradiso 37--never eaten here.

FRI Sept 18th: breakfast in bed--fun.

and dinner at kona cafe--just ate here a week ago. Food was good but I liked lunch here better for some reason. That said, it generally gets great reviews.

SAT Sept 19th: breakfast a Norway--this looks fun.

and dinner in Mexico--I have had both good and bad meals here. I actually prefer the fast food Mexican over the sit down.

You might want to try either the Coral Reef (which I love, although I think I am in the minority) or one of the restaurants around the Boardwalk. Flying Fish is pretty good and Todd English's BlueZoo (in the Swan/Dolphin) is amazing (both are pricey). If you don't care about eating on Epcot on the 19th, I highly recommend Citricos in the Floridian (although it is expensive) or The Wave in the Contemporary (less pricey).
