I kind of debating on getting an AP when I go this September...

After Sept I really want to go during Christmas, and maybe sometime in April or something for a weekend.

Is it worth doing this? What are the benefits?

If you're definitely doing all of those trips within a year, definitely get the AP. I think the AP starts being a benefit after 10 park days. Plus you can get resort discounts and the TiW card for dining discounts.

I wish I had gotten one this year, I went for 6 days in Feb and I'm back for 6 more this October!

You also get 10% off anything you buy at The World of Disney store in DtD.

I wish we would've gotten an annual pass! We went in December and stayed off-site for 2 weeks and SSR for 3 nights.....17 days total! Plus we decided a couple months ago to go again in September for 11 nights. If we would've bought the annual pass it would've saved us so much! :hammer:

Just playing devil's advocate for a minute:

- AP room discounts aren't guaranteed

- if you want to take part in a PACKAGE special such as Free Dining, you would need to give up any AP room discounts and purchase at least a 1 day base ticket per person in order to qualify for the MYW Package with Free Dining

Your main reason for getting an AP should be for the fact that you are making so many trips and it is the most cost efficient ticket for that many days - all the rest are just nice extras.

You can always apply what you pay for a one day base ticket to you renewal. :animwink:
