Lefse from Norway!!! It is so unappropriate how many times I have lefse while at EPCOT...on average, I usually double back to Norway everytime after we visit one pavilion...so figure there are 11 pavilions...wow, that's alot...but it's worth it...

Cheddar Soup in Canada

Can you even get the Cheddar Soup in Canada without making a 90 day ADR at Le Cellier?

In Morocco, most of the good stuff are the large entree platters at the Tangerine Cafe. For something small, I'd recommend either splitting a falafel sandwich or getting the lental salad and/or tangerine couscous salad sides.

Speaking of splitting, I hope you have someone to share the food with, otherwise you'll be pretty stuffed before you're halfway through! Oh, and the ham and apple sandwiches in Norway are very yummy!

I LOVE tasting the desserts all around World Showcase!

My favorite has got to be the strawberry & chocolate crepes from the kiosk in France!!!

I also love the Bakery in France...the chocolate mousse is to die for! Someone on here had posted a picture last year of this strawberry cake from the bakery in Norway, so I went there a few times in november, and they did not have it...I am dying to try this cake!!!

I love being there during the F&WF...we try so many different foods from all the countries! :slurp::slurp::slurp:

I think the only time you can get it without a reservation at Le Cellier is during the Food and Wine Festival. It's always on the Canada tasting menu, though it's a very tiny portion.

I see you are in NJ

I don't know where, but perhaps a trip to Vasa Park in Budd Lake is not too far

Get your leftse fix in at the scanda fest in September :) - usually some vendor is selling it.

I have never tried to do it myself, but others have said that if its slow enough (i.e a waiter is free) they will make you a take-out / to-go container of the soup. The same goes for the, for some reason, popular pretzel bread.

What do you guys recommend to eat (desert, snack, entree, drink) in each country of World Showcase? I have read a lot of threads about drinking around the world but none about eating around the world.

Mexico - (TS) Plato Mexicano, Fish bowl sized Margarita (CS) Nachos, Churros
Norway - (CS) Sandwich roll up thingys -- can't remember the name of them
China - (CS) Egg roll and fried rice, (TS) Pot stickers, House fried rice
Germany - (CS) Large pretzel
Italy - (CS) Chocolate and champagne
America - (CS) Funnel Cake
Japan - (TS) Shrimp and Scallops on Hibachi
Morocco - (TS) Beef Berrat(sp?) Rolls
England - (TS) Guiness Stew
Canada - (TS) Cheddar Cheese soup and Filet

I tried to eat something at every stall during the food and wine festival this past year.... I didn't make it half way around before I was stuffed.

I was also quite disappointed with Australia.... not a single meat pie to be seen! :(

My appetite is always in the mood for these items :slurp:

Mexico - Cantina Nacho's w/out meat
Norway - Pastries
China - Eggrolls and Lo Mein
Germany - Pretzels and Sauerkraut
Italy - Chocolate or Gelato
USA - Funnel Cake
Japan - Sushi
Morocco - Falafel anf Baklava
France - Pastries
England - Fish & Chips
Canada - Never ate there but I will say I think they need a quick service restaurant so people can try the food from the country. Le Cellier is a great place so I have heard but I have also heard that getting a reservation is almost impossible

UK- a pint and fish and chips
France- anything in the Boulangerie Patisserie
Morraco- baklava and mimosa
Japan- Teppan Edo every visit
America- funnel cake and turkey leg
Germany- Beirgarten every visit for great German food and beer
Norway- Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe for anything. The lefse is the best though

My husband likes to do this. He gets a little nibble in each country from the quick service counters. By the time we get around to the other side, I have to roll him out of the park. Its hilarious, but fun.:)
