Merchandising gone amok

Ok, I love Disney just as much as the next gal and I have quite a few Disney related products, but I was amazed by what I saw in the grocery store tonight...

Disney Eggs!?

The carton has Mickey on it and says something like "see all your favorite Disney friends inside". I opened it and sure enough, each egg has a Disney character stamped on the top.

Great point. I know there are fruit snack and the like. I guess I was just surprised to see Mickey in the dairy case!

Though I can't recall seeing it in local grocery stores, it appears Donald Duck Orange Juice is still manufactured and sold.

Considering the brand was first established in the 1940s, it is very impressive that this product persists to the current day.

I have 3 boxes of Mickey shaped pizza is my freezer right now. My kids love them. Although I always feel bad when I cut Mickey's ears off.:lookaroun

I don't know what walmart you are talking about but my walmart here in Austin, Tx is still selling the pizza and burgers. I just bought a box each this afternoon.

The only thing I can find at the grocery store I shop at regularly is the Mickey pasta.

Come across the GWB, we got 'em in ShopRite.

I saw them the other day. They are in a clear plastic case, like Egglands Best. Thats what I thought they were. I opened the case to check if they were cracked, and there was Mickey looking back at me. I was quite suprised.

We also have Micky frozen burgers, I saw them months ago.

Here in VA they do, and they are super yummy and are actually better for you (as much as a nugget can be) than the Tyson ones. I flipped out when I saw them, and my friend just rolled her eyes!
