Are there any restaurants you would like to see @ WDW?

I personally would like to see a Cheescake Factory brought in. Great menu that caters to everybody tastes. What would you add?

Well, I guess you missed that DisneyQuest did have a Cheesecake Factory Express..Mostly quick eats but they did have some good pizza before Disney took over FoodQuest & Wonderland Cafe.

But, Getting back to the point I think the Idea for T-Rex would have been worked into Dinoland since....Well, It's about Dino's...But no..no...That's fine To them...Unless they put another into AK..They have 2 Landry's restraunts in there now...Thirds the charm right?

I always thought a Haunted Mansion themed would be cool. Coffin tables, cob webbs, "poisioned" drinks, maby even a small show with a scene from HM played out. Other ideas?

No chains for me, as I can get them elsewhere

More seafood - grouper dishes especially

What I would really like to see, instead of a new restaruant, is some more exotic dishes, especially in the WS venues.

Agreed. I would like something unique. I would love to see a restaurant themed on extinct WDW attractions. You could gather a lot of the old props from old attractions and decorate the place with them. You could even base the menu on items from restaurants that used to be on property. I, for one would like a teriyaki burger from the old veranda.:slurp:

Fun idea!! On this theme, I would a Tower of Terror themed hotel too!!! With a nightly Murder Mystery, a la Adverture's Club but with an evil twist (tear)!!!

I couldn't agree more!! It bugs when we are on vaca and traveling party wants to hit an Outback (don't get me wrong - i'm a fan of the bloomin' onion) but on vaca - something new and fun would be good!

I would like another TS at MK - like a Alice themed one or something??? :)

Couldn't agree more. Bringing in chains would become just a reason not to stay on property in my opinion. I say that, because part of the charm and appeal of staying on property is being so close to many diverse dining opportunities. (Although I say this with a grain of salt, due to the food being fairly "eh" on my trip last Jan., the first in nearly a decade. I remember being wowed by the food when I was there as a teenager.) Why stay on property, or eat on property, if you can drive to I-4 or wherever and find the exact same restaurants??

I'm not a big fan of clones, nor have I ever been there before, but the animator's palette could be a good fit in DHS. An idea I have seen before which I think would be cool is a Mos Eisley Cantina near Star Tours. There aren't too many types of restaurants that aren't already covered in WDW but a fondue place may be cool, or possibly an Indian restaurant. Could do a cool Indian restaurant in AK, make it smaller and more intimate, something along the lines of a Le Cellier. Would fit right in with the Asia theme, and you could have a few children's menu items, chicken fingers, mac'n'cheese, etc., so that parents who enjoy Indian food can still go and not worry about the children not finding anything to eat. The only problem would be the smell :dazzle: Maybe a Thai restaurant in Adventureland?

i'd like to see the animator's palette, the one they have on the disney cruise where everything changes color throughout your meal, come to the dis.

might be a little hard to do since the timing of everything that goes on. but would be cool to see.

Ooooooh; that is a brilliant idea!

I'd also like to see a Blue Bayou restaurant (even though I've never eaten there) brought to Florida.

A Brazilian Churrascaria. Better yet, a Churrascaria in a brand new Brazil pavilion at Epcot.

BTW, at a Churrascaria, all kinds of meats are cooked on spits over an open flame. Then those spits are delivered to the table where individual portions are sliced from the spit right onto your plate. And the meats keeps on coming and coming!

Oh please no...

Sorry, but as a born-and-raised New Orleanian, I can safely say that that restaurant tastes nothing like the foods of NOLA. It's always been said that you shouldn't eat New Orleans food in restaurants that didn't have origins in the city, and this is a perfect example.

As for restaurants to add...I really want Alfredo's back.

I have heard of these before but have never eaten in one. It sounds similar to Ohana. Is it?

 That reminds me of the Muppet Movie.

My thought is that you could have about five different rooms all themed to different attractions.

Maybe it's because I am from Philly and you can throw a rock and hit most of these chain places, but I have no desire to see a PF Changs or any other chain restaurant in Disney. If that is something you crave, hop in a rental car or taxi and you can find one in the city.

What I would like to see?
This http://www.mars2112.com/about.htm
and this http://www.jekyllpub.com/jekyllpub/index1.html
I have been to the Mars one and it was fun. As for the Jekyll and Hyde pup, I actually never went to that one, and I went to school a few blocks away for 4 years, but I had been to the their now closed outpost uptown near Rockefeller Center(think that was where it was) and that place was fun. Think Adventures Club, but not as funny and more structured.
