If you want a room closest to the food court and bus stop, you should pay for a Preferred room.can any one help.we have booked to stay at allstar music next may 2009.
there are 6 of us, one of the group has M.S and can not walk very far sometimes.
how can we get room near the facilites?prefferable on the ground floor anyone have an email address for all stars resorts?
we dont want the 'preferred'room, as we are to fat or lazy to walk.If you want a room closest to the food court and bus stop, you should pay for a Preferred room.
You shouldn't wait. Call and make the request on your reservation today. As I understand it, one of the "tiebreakers" on requests is the date stamp the request was made.
Writing to or faxing the resort will do you no good. They will not take room requests through the fax or the mail...they will hit the circular file. Everything needs to go through the main reservation number or through the special needs department. The suggestion of paying for a preferred room was a very valid suggestion. In the case of the values the preferred rooms are those in the area that you are wanting to stay...close to the lobby/bus stops. They will fill those rooms in this order...Guests that have paid for them first, requests for special needs second, and free upgrades next. If you want to do the most to guarantee a ground floor room close to the front booking a preferred room will at least get you half way there. If you do not book a preferred room you do run the risk of being put farther from the front.sorry to sound snappy!
i just think its unfair that to have a request for a room on the ground floor, just so happens to be what disney called a prefered room. if it were down to us we would 'prefer' to be at the back in the peace and quiet.
i will write to the resort, and hope they can sort it out for us.then again fingers crossed for an upgrade.that would really make our day!
