Nothing can actually be put in their room until they check in and are assigned a room. They can have a "special delivery" waiting for them when they return from their first day in the parks though :)

You can try calling the Contemporary directly: (407) 824-1000
Or you can try Disney Florist and put together a basket: (407) 827-3505

Nothing can go into the rooms until they arrive. In addition, since they booked through a travel agency, the reservation doesn't "belong" to them until they check in.

We were at the GF a week before my brother's family arrived in Dec. We bought gingerbread man cookies and had them wrapped and put into a bag with a note from our family to theirs. GF guest services said they would have the goodie bag placed in their room before they arrived. A week later, my brother called to thank us for the cookies that were waiting for them when they entered their room after checking in.

THANK YOU ALL!
I called the Conpt. today and after much rigamorroll I could not get mugs as thier snack area is being refrub and no cups are for sale. So I had a gift card left in thier room with a note. She was thrilled and the mang. at the Contp even add a pic of the fab five and a B-Button. I told her to get a drink on me, I *think* that 25.00 might get her and her hubby a B-Day drink.
Wish I was there with her, but our time will come.

Also thank you for the special relationship i have with my parents and grandparents.

When my sister and her family visited WDW in January of 2005, it was my sister's first trip since 1986 and two of my niece's first trip ever. She was so excited about finally going back. I called the Disney florist and had a Mickey shaped basket filled with snacks, etc. to be sent to their room. After checking in and heading to the parks, the basket was put in the room for them. They were thrilled. My sister stuffed the basket into her suitcase for the ride home. Knowing how she likes to overpack, I was surprised that she even got it to fit in her suitcase. :ROFLOL:

AWW thanks guys! She is a great friend too!
I talked to them awhile ago and they are "blown away" MK. And get this, THEY WERE AWADED DREAM FAST PASSES!! What a frist day at WDW. I am so thrilled they got the fast passes. When the dream team asked how many were in thier party she though they meant another group b/c she was there with her kids and DH. She even told them her group was not a party. LOL! So honest. I hope the rest of thier stay is magical too.
