I have noticed as my WDW trip gets closer, I am having vivid dreams about being at WDW.
I am checking in at my resort, walking through the parks, riding rides, eating, etc.
Does this happen to you as your trip gets closer? :veryconfu

I've had a few dreams. Normally like walking through the parks, but I've had a few "nightmares" about WDW (since I've been doing all the planning), like not getting being seated for our ADR, or being stuck in crowded parks. But I know we won't have the problem when we arrive.

I often dream about it, but it's never like it really is. Usually the entrance is different - there's usally a back door to get in, but we have trouble locating it.

Let the analysis begin!

This is a great thread! I always have WDW dreams as my trips get closer.

I'm currently planning my first ever trip to DL. I'm a little bit extra excited for that trip since I've never been to DL or Cali before. I find myself having about 2 dreams per week about DL. It's always really strange and different when I go there in my dreams. I don't even know where to start with the stories or how to explain them.

For one, in my weird dreams, PoTC used individual canoes, and it was very common for guests' canoes to tip over at times during the ride. Not only that, but you have to paddle through the ride yourself, there's no current pushing you, very bizarre.

That's the only major detail I can think of for now. In general, the whole park looked very different and bizarre, as things usually do in dreams. More details of my dreams might come to me later.

i don't why, but i must kept repeating the first time going to Disney World, but i don't dream about Disney World herself.

I just dream about me being in the airport, ready to go on the airplane and knowing that i going to Florida and Disney World. Later in the dream, i finally get on the plane and fly off into the sunset going to Florida. a little weird and nothing to do with Disney World, but just heading towards it

I have been dreaming about WDW for the past few nights. I am always at MK or on the monorail. I guess if you think about something all day you are more than likely going to dream about it.
5 more days! :sohappy:

i dream about it quite frequently.

my most recent dream was.. I was lost in tomorrowland. Which is funny, because it's the "land" i know the best and could never get lost.

Usually when i have dreams that i am in disney.. they VERY rarely look like disney at all. but the lost in tomorrowland looked just like it. like, when i was younger.. i had a dream that we were entering the 'world' and there was a big purple stone wall that you had to drive through and that that was the entrance. and there were paintings of donald and dumbo and the mice from cinderella on it. (to be specific)

..i know.. im sorry.. its strange.

Same here, everything is usually different than it actually is. However, it is still an enjoyable dream to have, and they usually occur for me once a month maybe, but are more frequent when a trip is coming up.

Too funny! I recently had a dream that when I got to Disney, everything was closed for a year for "major reburbishments" ala National Lampoons Vacation. I swear I woke up in a sweat and walked straight to the laptop! Seeing everything was all as it should be, my first coherent thought was "darn, no upgrades!" :ROFLOL:

I have had several dreams about WDW in the past.

The best dreams are when I go to EPCOT and Horizons, the original Journey into Imagination, and World of Motion are still there, and I get to ride them!

I wish I had those dreams more often! :)

Because I'm a CM it doesn't really work for me to dream about it when my "trip" gets closer...but I do dream about it. And never as a CM always as a guest. And needlesstosay it's amazing everytime, literally the perfect Disney days. It's the epitome of sleeping.
