How many rides possible during EMH?

ask!

How many e-ticket rides is it possible to ride with little waiting during early morning hours if you get to the park right at opening in August?

For instance, is it possible to get on both Rock-n-Roll rollercoaster and TOT in MGM? EE and the Safari in A.K.? Soarin', TT and Mission:Space in Epcot?

We are doing the late EMH at M.K. (I've read that it is not too crowded there at night)

Thanks for any input!

All your scenarios are certainly possible, though AK would probably be the most difficult, only because the safari takes some time. I guess you'd want to hit EE first, then go to the safari, rather then the other way around.

And from experience, let me tell you, EMH in MK at night is VERY crowded. If you can stick it out until the end, you might find a lot of people get exhausted and leave before EMH end, and THEN you may get rewarded with smaller crowds, but I've seen plenty of hour-long waites for rides after midnight during EMH.

Yes! We did pm emh at MK last year and were stunned at the number of people there. The line for SM was out the building and we thought how can there be this many people here? Thankfully, CMs were checking for wristbands. There seemed to be a lot of foreign people who didn't understand what was happening and were not happy about being told to get out of line. But it did eventually die down and by 1 am there was hardly any waits for rides at all.

The morning EMH are the way to go. You can get in several rides in that hour, plus the gates are just opening so you'll get another 1-2 hours on other rides before any crowds begin to build.

Most people sleep in and miss the EMH they planned for and still show up in the park about 2 hours late, so we usually hop out of that park to another one when the crowd begins to build.

We did EMH on most nights last summer & the crowds were not as bad as I had expected.
We were able to ride anything that was open w/o too much of a wait at any park.

i was thinking of staying in MK for PM EMH once and asked a cast member how long the wait might be. He replied maybe 20 minutes for the top attractions. I looked around and thought no way is that possible. decided to go back to my resort, sleep and get up early for am EMH @ AK instead.

It's very possible to see a chunk of attractions during morning EMH. It also puts you ahead of the crowds for much of the morning; you can see a good portion of a park by lunchtime if you take advantage of it properly (and then leave once all the "I meant to get up and come but am here late" crowd, i.e. the majority of people, arrive).

Evening EMH, however? Slow at the MK in August? Whomever told you that either hates you, or is woefully misinformed LOL. A HUGE percentage of resort guests will end up at that park, much more than it would get on a normal night. Why? Because of the "I paid for this!" mentality, and the fact that most people make their park schedules wherever EMH is.

In slow season, evening EMH can be fun, especially the last hour. August? Wouldn't even dare.

could you please point me to a link or thread on what PM and EMH are (early morning hours) but how they also work

It's pretty straight forward. Each day one park opens one hour early, or stays open three hours later (sometimes one of each, i.e. it could be AM EMH at MK the same day it is PM EMH at AK), for resort guests. In order to participate you need to be a Disney Resort Guest, and show your ID to get a wristband at the park in question.

The morning ones (AM EMH), *IF* you are actually there and walking in the park at 8AM, are blissful. The PM EMH's are a mixed bag...I enjoy being in the parks late for the atmosphere, but the crowds can get pretty bad for rides.

You can find the EMH dates for your vacation at disneyworld.com's calendar. Good luck!

When we went last October, we were able to ride ToT, hopped over to ride RnR, and then Tot again - all with no problem at all. This was during morning EMH. The only reason we didn't do RnR again was we were so excited because we had a magic moment in ToT during our second ride. EMH are great.
