rather than be afraid of monsters, inc. resembling SGE too much, i'm afraid that it's going to resemble something like turtle talk. have i just gotten my facts wrong? it sounds to me like the same kind of attraction. i hope i'm wrong.

It's much bigger. 400 seats.

...its a shame SGE didn't do so well but do we know what new visitors think of Stitch?

Well from my experience, these days it's pretty much always a walk-on attraction, often with the Fastpass machines covered up and not being used due to lack of demand..... You be the judge. :animwink:

I doubt that the theater will be full on regular park days (excluding holidays and special events). 400 seats is a large number to fill, and the Timekeeper theater was really big, so I suspect that the theater was made so that the show would never have a long wait (basically the plug-and-chug principle of Disney attractions).

Let us seize the future....and hope that in doing so, things change a bit. :D

:lookaroun

I hope you're right. But I guess my expectations for Magic Kingdom changes are at an all time low right now. It would be great if this Monsters Inc attraction is more adult friendly than the other changes that have come to the park over the past 5 years or so (There are exceptions, I know. I am generalizing).

You must always be there at 5 minutes before closing. Don't you know that SGE always has 190 minute waits and every guest that sees it absolutely adores the show? :lookaroun

So is it safe to assume that when this attraction opens it will help reduce wait times elsewhere in the park due to the amount of people this will hold? Or at least in Tomorrowland?

It will only reduce wait times in the rest of Tomorrowland(or the park) if it is really that popular...(Heres hoping that it drops the wait time on Space Mountain to 5 minutes! :sohappy:)

If it's holding this many people it can't be an all day show especially since it requires live talent to do most of the show. Does anybody know if this will be a continually loading attraction or if it'll more likely be something like "Monsters Inc Laugh Floor playing at 10:00, 1:00, 4:00, and 7:00"

Probally on a scedule similar to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid would be my best guess. Give rough times. Who knows though. Philharmagic holds a bunch of people, and they keep that going all day long.

My understanding is that the technology used is similiar, if not identical to Turtle Talk. I'm guessing it will be shows every 20 minutes or 1/2 hour.

I see it to be a mix between Philharmagic and Turtle Talk. The characters onscreen will be interactive to a certain extent, but not as personalized as Crush would be.

The signs may be similar for a specific theming reason.

The attractions are located on opposite sides of the 'street' in the 'city of tomorrow'. Many cities have signs for businesses that are very similar due to zoning laws. It appears to be done to work in the theming of a city street. Looks like they've done a good job to me.
