Just my suspicion, but it looks like they're just going to keep the riverboat closed until part 2 of BTMRR's refurb is done

I'm hoping its closed because of the updates to the river scenes they announced back in April, although no works seems to have begun yet

Apparently they messed up the Molly Brown during refurbishment, which sent it back to refurbishment...

A hunch says bigger but not huge. But nicer.

And mainly it enables the current one to be demolished.

The first full dome repaint since the 2005 refurb, if I remember correctly. Pretty amazing. I also wonder if originally they weren't going to be painting the whole thing but decided to do so later on. According to Actu DLP over in Central Plaza Forums, a second phase will take place after BTM's own second phase, that will focus on the inside of the show building.
