No worries. It’s a dream park!Ah, missed that first time round.
And what a park that would have been. Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn, Horizons, Peoplemover..For your viewing pleasure, the very first approved plan of Eurodisney, from April 1986.

I did a search. They’re obviously trying to bury this latest delay - no news reports , nada except on the website. I’ve lost count of how many times it’s been delayed.I see the ETIAS has been pushed back to 2026.
The ees is still on course for October 25.I did a search. They’re obviously trying to bury this latest delay - no news reports , nada except on the website. I’ve lost count of how many times it’s been delayed.![]()

Attention, Space Rangers! Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast has closed its doors for a major refurbishment, scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. Here’s a sneak peek at the extensive work being carried out! Over the coming months, teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Maintenance, and...news.disneylandparis.com
Good grief, yes. Not just hideous, but utterly disregarding its surroundings. Cartoonish and carnivalesque.Hope they finally rethink the hideous facade.
Did you ever hear of a steampunk Stitch retheme for this? Unsure if it was ever more than just a blue concept idea but with the popularity of Stich in Paris and the recently successful film I was still holding out hope it could come true.Hope they finally rethink the hideous facade.
I have a feeling Marni disagrees from when I said this before but I prefer the current facade over the original version that was black (and typically faded) and had 2-D cut outs of the Little Green Men.Good grief, yes. Not just hideous, but utterly disregarding its surroundings. Cartoonish and carnivalesque.
Then again, the facade is representative of the ride, if you are going to convert your environments into toon IP lands then this is what you get.
Sorry for the triple post but this just came to mind... I doubt DLP are going to be this coordinated but now would be a good time to cover the outside queue whilst the attraction is down.Hope they finally rethink the hideous facade.
The queue is meant to be next to be covered last I heard.Sorry for the triple post but this just came to mind... I doubt DLP are going to be this coordinated but now would be a good time to cover the outside queue whilst the attraction is down.
Facade apart, the current green is just wrong for the Discoveryland. I realise it is the Buzz colour, but it’s too garish for the muted colours of all the Jules Verne theming.I have a feeling Marni disagrees from when I said this before but I prefer the current facade over the original version that was black (and typically faded) and had 2-D cut outs of the Little Green Men.
Plus I always think if you walk into Discoveryland and don't turn around you never need to look at it!
