Back in the day the gear shifting in a stick was not as smooth and precise as a it is today. Now when I row gears it’s basically flick flick flick. Only thing that gives my left leg a workout and more attention on the road is bumper to bumper traffic continually using the three pedals to avoid stalling the car in traffic.
