DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Nemo has never been part of any land and is not affected. The theater is just it's own thing between Asia and the now extinct Dinoland.
No "confirmation" is needed. It has never been part of the Dinoland discussion because it's not part of Dinoland. It's just a theater located between Asia and the now extinct Dinoland.
The theater has always been listed on maps as part of Dinoland, USA.

Theater in the Wild is Dinoland. The people there wear the outfit. There's some vague, dumb, modern-Imagineering-esque backstory about it being a lecture hall.

Technically, the Discovery River Theater is also Dinoland territory.
I accept the correction. However, it has never been part of the discussion. The Nemo show is doing just fine on its own.

Rafiki's planet watch?
It's so out of the way that I completely forgot that exists. But I take my statement back with this, I wish the railroad had actual theming lol

Maybe park guests stay longer than they do now because more to do in Tropical Americas? If you're really serious about doing AK, you don't skip the animal walkways and shows either. If you're a park commando-type whose only interest is doing rides, AK is not your park.
I'm sure it'll keep people in the park a bit longer, but doubt we see any significant expansion to park hours. Still not enough additions to warrant later hours.

In addition, crews and trucks were spotted near Dinosaur Treasures dismantling the gift shop.

For those of you not playing along at home, I would like to take this moment to remind/inform everyone about what we're not getting, the Excavator, the original Dinoland thrill ride.

A wooden rollercoaster that was an extension of the Boneyard and themed to a giant dinosaur dig. Disney's first and only wooden rollercoaster, a title it would still hold if it were built today. It was either going to feature giant makeshift dinosaurs made out of old equipment or unearthed bones, it's not clear.

This was what was supposed to replace Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama before the "temporary" title kinda was forgotten.

A very unique ride that would not have the controversial carnival elements (the store lived, I think, it was there before the carnival), kept dinosaurs in the park, and could have partnered with a new land to actually expand the place. As a bonus, the new land could go somewhere that makes big animal exhibits easier (since I'm sure Disney really, really wants to focus on animals, really).

"Animal Kingdom doesn't need another thrill ride." Neither does Hollywood Studios! And yet, they're doing it.

DinoLand’s whole thing had a bit of charming kitsch to it, but I’m glad this land is being redeveloped into something major. May it be as well done as the rest of the park.
I agree, but will this actually add capacity to the park? I have my doubts.

It may have the opposite effect. AK will have the same (or some may say less) capacity, and a lot more folks will want to go to AK to see the new land.

It will be interesting to watch.

It will certainly add more utilized capacity to the park. All of Dino-Rama was a black hole with very little interest.

Tropical Americas should help draw guests to that side of the park away from Pandora. It's not the full fix DAK needs, but it's a start. Placing an attraction over in Africa (either next to FoLK or Wildlife Express) would really help DAK and get it to a better place.

In my opinion, this will bring more folks to AK and with the reality there is no actual additional capacity in attractions compared to when Dinoland when it was in full swing, the park will simply be more crowded.

But this is the goal of Disney, get folks to show up at AK.

What folks can do after they tap in is another issue but that's ok for Disney as they have used an entry for the day.

So utterly upset😒
There is No need to touch dinosaur and boneyard! It’s animal kingdom main ride IMHO.
Build the silly zootopia and encanto on that other side.

Oooh! Nice try Universal! But it's a shame that River Adventure and the majority of the Orlando JP land is straight-up garbage full of barely functional AAs and the land sans a coaster that destroyed the sightlines is still largely stuck on opening day!

But hey! It's better than nothing 😏.
I think it was just a joke…
