My very unrealistic dream is a figment redo, add an inside out ride next to it and during the “imagination land” part of IO you dip into the figment ride a la the people mover going into the Tomorrowland rides

That is a fun compromise and oddly enough puts that pavilion feel back in.

An Imagineering Pavilion...(It's sort of an IP that Disney owns)... The foundation of which would be Dreamfinder and Figment and the Dreamport... then Imagineering Labs, One Man's Dream... Move Carousel Of Progress over for a Progressland miniland as part of it... Part Walt Disney Museum, Part Imagination Origin Story, Part Wacky imaginative Lab and amusements... Add on an immersive Dining venue in the Dreamport... It could be amazing....and it creates an area where they could literally have imaginative rides that might not need an entire storyline queue...but like a Garden of Inventions....All set in a whimsical 1960 futurist campus that is The Dreamport....

Found another photo of the same figure years back. Looks like he’s faced some significant deterioration since then, I remember seeing this photo circulating around at least a decade ago so it’s been a minute. Also now noticing the Flight to Imagination figure laying on its side in the back

Oh absolutely. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Dreamfinder head being restored, luckily pneumatics have a long shelf life, doesn’t seem like his mech is at all rusted or anything like that. Mainly cosmetic issues with the old latex
