Nope.
The billboard outside the stunt show...look again. It looks like Johnny Knoxville. A joke I stated durring my CP many moons ago.
Hmm maybe the billboard just works better in person when you’re looking at it from a distance. I do think the GMR figure looked way better than the DL one

@Moth seemed pretty excited about whatever plans they saw so who knows

...but that was a while back, so if I'm understanding @celluloid correctly that it's been scaled down from the earlier plans, it may have been downgraded from what @Moth saw earlier on. Maybe @Moth will jump in sometime with info about when they saw the plans, so we can compare that against when @celluloid saw what they did, etc.

Yeah that would be great. Because I don't know when and what plans Moth saw. the scale difference I mentioned have come after that model was on display.

They could save even more money building a ride inspired by that train at the start of Last Crusade.

They're still going to spend what was budgeted. But what was budgeted may not provide for all the extra bells and whistles they were hoping for.

Remember, it's not so much that money gets taken away (a budget cut), but that things cost more than they expected (cost overruns forcing a scaling back).
That’s a bit ominous. Hope it isn’t too much of a scaleback where it significantly impacts quality.

I guess if you are expecting the attraction to be absolutely remarkably groundbreaking, the thought that it will be value engineered to a degree does sound ominous...though we all know it happens on everything... Hopefully it will look amazing and whatever cost overruns they have will not be noticeable in the final product. The IJ incorporation is an exciting idea... I love the integration...so hoping for the best on this.

And yet it’s still way beyond what Disney had done elsewhere at the time.

Tbf Animal Kingdom had just opened a few years prior which I personally consider one of Disney's best themed parks ever, though it was admittedly a bit light on attractions upon opening by comparison to DisneySea. But then again, DCA was the same year as DisneySea which is a much less favorable comparison lol
