Nah, they filled that quota with the ToL commit. They're trying everything.
But why?? If there’s already a show coming to DAK, what’s the point?? Talk about lack of variety in park themes & offerings. Lame. They seriously need to reconsider and I hope they do. Stupid idea if they genuinely wanna do this with an attraction already going to DAK. Only way I could consider that a positive is if the DAK show is canned and something more fitting or original and well thought goes in there. They're trying everything.
Not to mention Country Bears now have Zootopia as wellBut why?? If there’s already a show coming to DAK, what’s the point?? Talk about lack of variety in park themes & offerings. Lame. I don’t doubt you have sources, but I cannot fathom how anyone in Disney could justify TSL, MI, and Zootopia all in the same park. At that point, you’d be better off renaming the park Pixar Studios instead of Hollywood Studios. That’s simply too much saturation for a property that isn’t super popular in the US compared to China. They're trying everything.

If only the thing they were “trying” was the expand the parks instead of replacing things all the time. They're trying everything.
Fair, but same aesthetic.Zootopia is not Pixar.
I was thinking this - I think that will sit outside of the land, or if within, can be easily rethemed. It may be mentioned in the 40 something pages, but in regards to this replacing Grand Avenue, why would Disney waste money building a new, permanent Coke stand to tear it down so soon after?
Because IPs can't exist in two parks? Especially an IP with one, and come next year, two billion dollar films?Nah, they filled that quota with the ToL commit.
Zootropolis isn't Pixar. Pure WDAS blood in that there film!I don’t doubt you have sources, but I cannot fathom how anyone in Disney could justify TSL, MI, and Zootopia all in the same park. “Kermit the frog visited monstropolis when he was a kid”Little did we know this whole time the Muppets were just Monsters trying to capture laugh energy (There are worse backstories for an attraction)
I would be for this - they could even update it and have Figment instead of Waldo - with some very fun added comments from gonzo.Ya know.. something that could possibly be a net positive that I (and I’m sure a number of folks) could accept if done. If they strictly kept Muppet•Vision 3D in the Magic Eye Theatre with a little tribute exhibit to Jim Henson in the theatre lobby area and brought the original 83-98 Journey Into Imagination ride back with tech & spfx enhancements. No sneaky tactics like they did with Honey I Shrunk the Audience to close & retheme the ride to the theme of the 4D movie in ‘99, anytime in the future. I could absolutely get behind that concept.
If they could have Captain EO there in 86-93 with no problems, I would think they could with Muppet•Vision similarly. But yeah.
Why not do that first and then monsters - just for operations / capacity? At least then they would have potentially have a new - no height family ride before they close muppets. They're trying everything.
Unrelated to the main topic, but am I the only one that finds it creepy that there were just abandoned formerly on stage facades just living backstage?Remember this
