So we have a weather man and a dancer running things. What is next?
I have a suspicion that Matt Stone and Trey Parker hope it never ends, they are great source material for South Park.

Welcome to something Who fans have known for 56 years with the Sonic Screwdriver. But hey at least Pip has more personality than a SciFi looking pen.The deus ex machina PDA/Bot/Universal tool is a bit too much. When in doubt, whip it out.
The difference between the number of thumbs-down critics from All Critics and Top Critics is 3 reviewers. Seven thumbs down in the Top Critics group and 10 thumbs down in the All Critics group. Stuff like that happens with a small sample size.Yeah but if you filter the score by clicking Top Critics it’s actually a 74%.
That’s a large discrepancy and actually very unusual. The difference between “All” and ”Top” is usually 2-3% at most.
Something suspicious about how the score is boosted so high.
Randos on the internet who think they could do better would be really wild!!!So we have a weather man and a dancer running things. What is next?
I didn't know they were the ultimate arbiters of criticism.I have a suspicion that Matt Stone and Trey Parker hope it never ends, they are great source material for South Park.
What's up with this thread? I started to skim it and it's just pages of the usual whining about Star Wars in general?
Just brining it up.The difference between the number of thumbs-down critics from All Critics and Top Critics is 3 reviewers. Seven thumbs down in the Top Critics group and 10 thumbs down in the All Critics group. Stuff like that happens with a small sample size.
Of course, for years people never made mention of Top v. All critics until certain people found they can cherry pick a score more suited to their opinion by doing so.
ProofJust brining it up.
With Disney recently posting fake reviews and influencers talking about all the bribing that goes on, I’ll just stick with the score from the people not on the Disney payroll.
How about the barrage of YouTubers complaining about the lack of white men without watching a single episode in a story that does not talk about race or gender at all… so I am not sure what that has to do with anythingThe audience score.
Currently at 32%.
This is how it will ultimately be judged IMO.It has some promise. Let’s see if they can stick it?
Tired talking point.Proof

I am not saying most people watching the show are agreeing with those YouTubers…but they post videos trying to prove the audience agrees with their thoughts…I don’t think it is a huge jump that them and their followers would influence the audience ratings
…that didn’t lastMaybe episode 3 brings the Star Wars audience together for the first time since The Force Awakens….
Hmm, hasn't this been brought up before, even as recent as last year, and debunked time and again.Just brining it up.

Look if you don’t want to look at the evidence then this conversation isn’t going to go anywhere.Hmm, hasn't this been brought up before, even as recent as last year, and debunked time and again.
So Disney is running an influence campaign and a "payola" bride scam at the same time just to get higher RT scores? Have any actual proof of that?
Sounds like the stuff of conspiracy theorists that "just don't like that critics rate something higher than they feel it should be" rather than being true. And if true it would be the biggest scandal since the payola scandals of the 1960s. One wonders why if its true there is not a suit filed and investigation opened up by the DOJ right now against Disney (and any other studios involved or is it only Disney that does this "supposed" campaign) for this practice? Or could it be that critics really do just like rate things differently than the regular audience?
And we just had an instance of someone who gives negative reviews still being on Disney's preview access list...As far as proof of fake reviews evidence was just posted the other day in the Tiana thread. We also have prominent influencers talking about how they
Receive special treatment from Disney.
Proof that Disney is clueless, or that they actually see negativity as good promotion: this guy gripes endlessly about the company’s “woke” series/films re: SW, Marvel, animation, live action, and they still have him and his site credentialed for early reviews?
I thought Disney punishes bloggers critical of Disney and doesn't invite them to milk and crackers.
I'm sorry I'm not familiar with any "fake reviews" that Disney actually got caught posting for TBA. Can anyone prove that claim that it was Disney that did this if it really happened, or is this again supposition based on a personal belief that someone couldn't possibly like the attraction?Look if you don’t want to look at the evidence then this conversation isn’t going to go anywhere.
Disney was caught posting fake reviews for Tiana’s Bungled Adventure.
If a company is willing to push boundaries in one area people are going to assume they are willing to do it in others.
I don’t know if they are trying too influence critic reviews or not.
I do one they actively pursued that strategy as recently as a few days ago in another arena.
