It's my hot take that it just doesn't look very interesting...

Not sure I've had that stance for really any majorish theme park addition.
Honestly I have to agree. I enjoyed the movie but wasn't overly "wowed" by it. I certainly have no desire to experience the move in real life. And the attraction itself just seems like the greatest hits of Rise + MMRR + Remy.

I could be on the wrong track but Zootopia could make sense for MK if it was popular for international audiences, considering WDW is in general visited by a large percentage of international guests that haven’t been visiting in as great of numbers recently. Could be an attempt to pull some more international guests as they are more profitable.

I’d rather they not do Zootopia either but they probably figure most domestic guests will eat up pretty much anything new.

This doesn't fit either, but I would rather Cars Land over Zootopia, if it has to be some "already built land cloned here"

With this rumor it's starting to feel like Disney is using WDW as the place to be able to dump popular things from the overseas parks so American visitors have an easier way to enjoy them. I'm not totally against this, but I wish it would be things like the Pirates ride at Shanghai or Mystic Manor. Not the Zootopia land that takes up so much space and has a ride that looks like a mashup of rides we have here already.

I honestly agree. Plus the rockwork would look less out of place next to Big Thunder Mountain.

I agree with this too.

Why must it be single-IP minilands? Just build a fleshed out villain land…

The beyond thunder mountain area certainly has space to fit more than one "land" if WDW wanted. I'd agree that a very large Villains land would be good, but if they are determined to add more than just that... I'd favor doing a Villains land on the eastern park (closest to HM and Fantasyland) while if you have to put an unrelated/new thing in the east I'd prefer something based on ancient Greece/Rome with a ride based on Hercules and other mythological ideas (e.g ride about the Odyssey, Trojan War, myths in general) which fits into the "vibe" of MK better.

I'd also add New Orleans elements on the far side of the railroad station (i.e. Tiana restaurant, appropriate buildings/shopping)

If they really want Moana, put her in Adventureland (or create a seperate Oceania land in DAK)

If they want to bring Cars or Zootopia to WDW, put them in DHS.

I feel like they have a track record of announcing something bold like this and only building the early phase. I’d hate to end up with Moana and that Zootopia ride and have that be it.

I'm sure its far better than the other sit downs... but is it popular? Seems like it always has availability and I can't imagine they're happy with that. It's a prime location and I really want them to give the egg roll cart a proper location with seating.
Egg Roll cart(but expanded) should go here with a little rest area. Similar to tropical hideaway at DL

and wouldn't the modern whimsical city setting of Zootopia fit better into a "Backlot" area of DHS? Where there would be no concern of it sticking out like a sore thumb...Seems like that would be the place where it would fit the best...
Absolutely. And the Zootopia ride has no height requirement, which is great for DHS. 3 rides with that ride system are the only concern. I’d rather a boat ride.

My vote would be extend the Muppet's mini-land into the parking lot, adding a Muppets dark ride, and either placing the Zootopia mini-land behind Star Tours or behind Rise.

If you go behind Star Tours, you could eventually connect the land to another land behind / on the Indy Stunt Show.

I know they remake films that don’t really need them from a story perspective because they print money, but you’re totally right that there’s a couple movies like Atlantis that make a lot of sense to remake. Hunchback and Treasure Planet are the other two movies that could really stand to benefit as well.

I genuinely don’t have a problem with franchise movies if they’re good. I really wish more of the remakes were fresh takes like A Star is Born or prequel/sequels like Cruella than unwatchable, uninspired rip-off movies like the Lion King remake.
Hunchback is great as it is imo.
