Jr High I had to walk home from everywhere

I fell on the ice at school and briefly lost consciousness … they sent me home in a cab.

Attempt #3 to see dh's parental units for Christmas officially cancelled
Weekend one and 2 cancelled due to them being sick. @JenniferS your boys have nothing on my dh and his brother
Truth be told I don't blame my dh for all the screaming (over the phone) due to bil showing up sick to the parental unit's house
We're currently looking at 8 to 12 inches of white bleep

All parental units had a car. It was just safer for me to walk as both moms cooked as well as they drove. It's a miracle any of us are still alive

Falling on ice and through the ice brings me bad memories. When I was a teenager our class took a bus to Washington DC to march in the annual Right to Life protest. I was walking on a frozen pond that I thought was frozen.
We only have the last season here.

The farthest walk or bike ride growing up was swim lessons which were about a mile away, schools I could count in blocks, park one block, bus to the city one block, diner 3 blocks.......................................
