Why are you ignoring the original movies they are doing? Or that originals are a huge gamble that often don't do nearly as well as sequels?
In 2023 nearly half of their theatrical releases are original so exactly what percentage of releases should be original to meet your demands? If you want to ignore Fox and searchlight and only focus on "core" Disney you still have Wish and Elemental. So, if two brand new, original Disney animated movies is not enough in a year, how many do there need to be? How many original movies were they releasing a year back when they were a "good" studio?
