If real - is there a source?
According to the agreement the new board wouldn't have been able to design a power station like this lolBREAKING: Chairman Garcia finds the Mickey Mouse power transfer pole to be “highly unuchzooal, illegal, and un-American”. Seeks to remove and replace it.

What happens if every EMT and Firefighter walks out? How do they get service coverage for the parks?
Wonder if Central Florida Tourism or Disney allow it?County emergency service?
The District already has the mutual aid agreements. They’d first have to end those agreements. Even then, the counties would likely still respond and then just bill the District. They’re dumb but probably not that dumb. Same for Disney.Wonder if Central Florida Tourism or Disney allow it?
Talk about overreach. They'll remove it at the tax payers expense then decide they shouldn't have done that just like they're going to decide taking away Disney annual passes was an overreach (they're "reconsidering" that action rt now).Odd how they don't discuss with Disney on ANY of this. Since the Oversite board is overseeing the district of which Disney makes up almost all of it, one would think they'd want to discuss with Disney. I don't understand how the board can decide what Disney gives as gifts etc. Please explain. Wasn't the reason DeSantis said he's "ready to move on" bc he asked Disney to drop their lawsuit? Thought the two were connected? DeSantis didn't conceded though and still has his new board in place so he didn't really "move in".?
Thank you. That makes sense and was a good way to explain it.I interpreted his “ready to move on” as an attempt to make it look like a spat that’s over and any further court proceedings would be because Disney just wants to fight the state instead of getting on with business.
In the meantime he knew the new board was in place to continue his retaliation, and that Disney really has no choice but to continue with the lawsuits.
Don’t you wonder why the firefighters want the annual passes instead? So the district took away the anual pass perk form its government employees...and now might give it back? This is crazy. Can the city of Miami give millions of dollars worth of Miami Dolphins season tickets to it's employees? No!!!
I'd rather take the value of these Disney annual passes and give their employees that CASH value as a bonus. This way...employees can use that CASH to buy their own Disney Annual passes with it...or use it to buy whatever the heck they want instead.
THAT would be a proper way for a government to give "perks" to it's employees without violating clear conflicts of interest.
Give that "perk" in exact CASH value so the employee can "choose" what to do with it. This way EVERYbody wins. (With maybe the exception of Disney...because many employees might choose to buy someting else with their bonus)
