Galaxy’s Edge added about 1600 operational jobs.
Iger outlined an increase of 13,000 jobs or roughly 8 times as many jobs than Galaxy’s Edge added. Sure, some of these will likely be the new campus, but new capacity is coming.

I heard they were going to drop all $17 billion on an 18 hole Moana themed mini golf course out by the All Star Resorts

I hope they just put a tent in the TTC parking lot and display the $17 billion in cash. I'd pay an admission fee to see that much cash in person.

What would Central Florida's economy be if Disney hadn't decided to open a theme park there and had chosen somewhere else? All it really was before Disney's arrival was a wintering spot for 'Snowbirds'. Would SeaWorld, Universal and all the other tourist attractions gone there under their own volition? Unlikely.
