Did any of our European members see the asteroid yesterday?

I think it was only visible in France, but I'm not sure. But I'm in quarantine, so I did not see it. I DID see the comet like a week ago or something. It was just a vague fuzzy blob in the binoculars, but according to the article I found yesterday, that's exactly what it was supposed to look like, and according to the star app we used, it was right where it was supposed to be. We'd never have found it without that, and until I read that article, I wasn't even sure we HAD found it because I was expecting to see a faintly green glowing thing, but apparently those pictues take HOURS to take and then are highly processed. But they don't TELL you that, or what you should be looking for. I'm pretty confident now that it was the comet.

The temps are good today although there is rain in the afternoon. What I mean by good temps is mid 40s to low 50s as highs where I live. That is considered warm in Wisconsin in February before it turns into @MinnieM123's favorite weather on Thursday. It is expected to be 3 to 6 inches of snow on Thursday.

My parents are celebrating parts of Valentines Day early today instead of Tuesday. My dad surprised mom with roses today from Aldi. Aldi got them in today according dad.The roses are much cheaper there than other places in the area. What I mean by that is Aldi's has a dozen of roses for $10.00 when other places in the area has a dozen of roses in the $20.00 to $25.00 range.

My parents also will be eating at a Supper Club today for their Valentines Day meal. They doing that today due to how busy Valentines Day will be at a Supper Club.

B picked up pizza at Pizza Hut for tonight. I was planning on making home made pizza tonight but I've had a cold the last couple days and didn't feel like making anything. The pizza was double pepperoni.

Agree, most of these have been replaced.
You still can set your alarm in your phone for example.
And the world pretty much replaced the ink ribbon for ink cartridges.

Ellen on her show had a hilarious segment when she had an 18 year old come on stage to attempt to dial a number on a rotary phone and to look up a business in a phone book. The girl had no clue. The audience was rolling in laughter.

Looking up the number in the phone book the worst though.

I also used the typewriter a couple times for basic stuff less than 10 years ago actually. That's because my job back then....the technology was in the stone ages.

The grandparental units still have a manual typewriter as one of them can never get the printer to work
