News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

"Our insiders have confirmed that there now being a 5 story mountain in Louisiana with wet water is to lead up to Splash Mountain's imminent closure"
First Lift Hill/Exterior
- Br’er Frog stuck looking up, and his motion doesn’t look natural
- Only moving his mouth, body lean, and leg
- Most nighttime lighting on the mountain is out.
- Br’er Rabbit singing dialogue quieter than birds
- First frog has a sleepy eye and isn't turning
- Goose on left barely moving and what is moving is very jerky
- Frogs not moving properly
- Jumping fish not working
- First Goose on right has a broken mouth
- Second Goose on right barely moving
- Third Goose on right’s head stuck tilted
- Br’er Fox’s jaw not closing properly
- Arm is also broken
- Br’er Bear laugh out of sync with motion
- Laugh finishes a few seconds early
- Mr. Bluebird’s head stuck facing downward and he’s stuck turned away from Br’er Rabbit
- Time to be Turnin’ Around tunnel very dark
- Lights out over Brer Porcupine and Racoon completely out
- Br’er Raccoon not swaying back and forth
- Sweeping bunnies only saying one line of dialogue
- Br’er Fox jaw barely moving yelling at Br’er Bear
- Br’er Bear not going up and down in trap
- Audio sounds slightly blown out
- Million Dollar Bunny dead
- Lights out above Br’er Frog and Br’er Gator out
- Br’er Frog not moving
- Br’er Roadrunner air leak is getting worse
- You can hear it when he leans forward and long before encountering him
- Lights out over Br’er Roadrunner and possums
- Only one possum above track working
- Br’er Fox holding Br’er Bear only moving his head
- No animation from Br’er Bear as a result
- Br’er Rabbit in tree barely moving
- Audio still messed up
- Br’er Fox’s audio practically silent, Br’er Rabbit way too loud and Br’er Bear’s speaker sounds blown out
- No spinning beehives functional or lit up
- Br’er Bear being stung audio turned off entirely
- Br’er Bear animatronic not moving but still slightly rocking back and forth
- Laughing Br’er Rabbit barely moving
- Br’er Fox only barely moving head/arms, no body animation
- Jumping water not working
- Fountain only working under one turtle
- First frog eyes not moving
- Second frog not moving
- Weasel stuck visible
- Weasel audio clipping over itself
- Br’er Fox’s mouth not working
- Captured Br’er Rabbit’s face looks very strange. Almost like the mask is slipping around the eyes.
- Vulture dialogue sounds very blown
- Vultures heads stuck down and barely moving
- Br’er Fox lair scene audio very messed up.
- Br’er Fox’s audio out of sync with the shadow animation
- Br’er Rabbit audio gets cut off by Br’er Fox’s next line
- Shadow appears again after Br’er Fox has already finished line
- Tied up Br’er Rabbit barely moving
- Big lift hill barely lit aside from cave scene
- Br’er Bear audio not working
- Critter dialogue next to boat sounds way too quiet
- Banjo Gator not playing banjo
- Accordion Gator stuck leaning sideways and barely moving
- Guitar Gator missing
- Zip A Dee Lady not rocking back and forth
- Gray hen moving very very slowly
- Yellow hen not moving tambourine arm/hand
- Chicken on the top right looking all the way up and leaning too far back
- Right can-can goose arms holding dress waaay too high
- All three can-can geese broken and out of sync with audio
- Left has neck twisted up
- Center goose mouth not working
- Right goose head stuck twisted up and away from the others
- All three can-can geese barely moving
- Trio of hens on left side of boat have their heads stuck backwards
- Br’er Frog dialogue not playing
- Br’er Turkey mouth not moving
- Audio also turned off
- Entire Gator Attack scene turned off
- Br’er Gator audio still plays although no animation from Gator
- Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear both look extremely dirty
- Br’er Rabbit and Mr. Bluebird audio clipping over itself.
- After the “Everything is satisfactual” line the audio skips a few seconds and plays “-p A Dee Doo Dah”
- Br’er Rabbit has limited movement
- Mr. Bluebird broken

Maybe you should consider listing the things that ARE working at this point.
- The mountain hasn't caved in
- No log sank today
- The fiery death of the sun didn't happen

I would legitimately love to see a Splash Mountain retheme using the animatronics from Kitchen Kabaret.
Is anyone here gonna be at Magic Kingdom on the 22nd for the send off?

Me and the daughter in the front row from December. She is excited Tiana (her favorite princess) is getting her own ride (you can see my feelings). She's too young to get caught up in the politics. I will keep Zip-a-dee-do-dah alive with her. And I just hope TBA is good enough for her.

Love this mentality. Hey, before you know it, you'll be making memories with your daughter on the new attraction!
I have loved Splash Mountain over the years, and I have loved The Princess and the Frog. I also thought Tiana was/is the best Princess out there. She works hard to improve her world and doesn’t wait for others to improve it for her. I love that. I also love beignets, animated New Orleans, and the music! I’ll miss the old version as I was always ignorant to the ignorance, and I’m really looking forward to a revitalized version of the ride. I hope they maintain it.
After returning home from my last ride I still can’t get over how mind boggling stupid this is.
It’s just not a ride you mess with.
Worst part is, this is all on Iger.
They put the man responsible for running parks and resorts into a ditch, back in the drivers seat.

I’m sorry you’re losing the ride you clearly love so much.
That many people love so much.
It’s insane to mess with it.
It’s what I consider a core ride. Meaning a ride that people can ride 500 times and still enjoy. More importantly for Dis a ride that people will pay the insane prices to ride over and over.
Now that ride may not be splash for you. But you certainly have that ride or rides. Maybe it’s Haunted Mansion maybe it’s Tower of Terror.
Can you gut out Haunted Mansion re-using the ride system and create a new attraction?
I guess you could but it’s insane to do so.
You can make the argument that every attraction is special to someone, so by my logic you couldn’t change anything ever.
I would counter that by suggesting the overall numbers of people the ride is beloved by.
I think we can agree certain rides just managed to capture the “magic” just right and are beloved by large percentages of guests.
I’m sure I’m not explaining my argument well. It’s just the feeling that they are destroying something that is at the pinnacle of imagineering, with no guarantee what they are replacing it with will recapture the same magic.
