I was referring to the plan in Austria in the article. Not some other implementation that isn’t happening.
Clearly, that would be best. If we can get vaccination rate, outbreak rate, and general virus impact of COVID to Measles levels, that would be a home run.

I guess you won't see this but you are very easily ticked off based on the posts that you react "angry" to. One of the biggest issues with our society is that people don't just disagree with somebody else, they dislike the person because they disagree.

For goodness sake stop with this hyperbolic nonsense. It's a freaking virus. Viruses spread and respiratory viruses spread easily. There is NOTHING you can do to guarantee that you won't spread it unless you don't have any contact with other humans. It doesn't matter how many masks you wear or how often you get a vaccine booster there is still a chance you can get infected and spread it to somebody else.
Ironically, I have asthma and my spouse is diabetic. Just goes to show how differently people are reacting to this mess.
What about NJ Transit? Will they will make announcement for masks to be gone for trains and buses by next year?
Here, we're going to do what we're going to do. We're going to ask people to be responsible, get vaccinated, and do things to reduce spread. Some of that ask will be more forceful with restrictions if it's not done. None of it will actually force someone to do any of it though. Some will do the things. Some will not. Some will say they're encouraging people to do them while simultaneously doing the opposite.
This the reverse of that nonsense. I'm not sure if you mean this, but the way it reads is "Since you cannot guarantee that you won't spread, it's useless to do anything that would reduce spread". This is the same disingenuous argument people who want to do nothing have been making since the beginning. One group says "do X, it'll reduce" and the other says "doing X doesn't stop all so why bother".
It also doesn't mean you might as well drive impaired or distracted. Not doing both of those will reduce the chance of an accident, even if it doesn't eliminate it.
Transportation is under a federal rule. I doubt NJ Transit will require masks when, or if
, the federal mandate expires without being extended.
