I know the window to reserve another LL begins 2 hours after park opening but, if you select a LL for 9:15, can select another after you tap in? Or do you have to wait til 11:15?

I walked right on with no wait yesterday as a single rider at about 5:45.

I'm very glad I'm not there trying to use the app today. Just playing around with it and Slinky had a 6:55 p.m. return time at 9:15 a.m. Or you can get on line now and wait 45 minutes, which seems like a reasonable wait.

Why would you wake up at 7am and book this is the same thing will be available at 9am?

Times have been bouncing around. Right now I don't trust it to actually show next available. Either a bug or they are releasing batches and starting over.

The before 9AMand after 9AM behavior seems like a bug to me? It’s it seems like before 9AM the app displays the return time From the night before.

The conspiracy theory was that Genie would send everyone to Mine Train to try and get them to buy ILL. Instead, it sends you to Carousel to try and get you to rope drop it and disperse the crowds. The people being taken advantage of aren't the Poors, they're the Stupids.
