Seven years later and they still can't figure out how to keep this queue from spilling out into what is already the most congested area of the park.

Supposedly, you can go into MDE and add Genie+ to whatever tickets you have. Don't know if anyone has tested this yet.

ILLs, on the other hand, can only be purchased thru the app on the current day.

I added Genie+ for our upcoming trip starting Thursday and it does work. We may not need it so much for just the two of us but I wanted some experience with the system before our family trip in the spring.

I like to think of it as a tax on people who can't wake up early.


I guess if you don't have friends that might be fun...

It's a coaster, not a team event. Why do you need to sit next to a friend? My wife and I happily use it, sit wherever they put us, and ride after waiting less than 5 minutes. Worth it every time.

My family has used single rider line a lot. For us having little wait is mode important then "family time" in line.

You have to add it for all days of your trip. There’s an option to add to existing tickets. If you choose it, it gives you a total price for all days.

We are talking about purchasing ahead of time. You can buy individually each day.
