Tommy Lister just confirmed he's working on two more Zootopia films with Disney and given the recent announcement that Shanghai will receive a Zootopia, I find it very hard to fathom that Disney is not planning on adding Zootopia into Animal Kingdom within the next 10 years.

Please no. HS or MK but not AK. All franchises in AK have to do with living in natural habitats, even the fictional habitat of Pandora. Just because the characters are animals doesn’t mean they belong there. It’s like saying Disney’s Robin Hood belongs in AK because the characters are animals. No it doesn’t.

To be clear, I’m not against the franchise. I’m all for Nick and Judy leading a dance party before the parade at MVMCP, for example. It just doesn’t fit in AK. It would do the opposite: disrupt the natural feel of AK. Think about it. A city plopped into the middle of AK which could be populated by people but animals instead. Um, no.

Zootopia CAN fit in DAK but ONLY if they make a movie sequel based around the core message of Disney's Animal Kingdom. As a land, It'd be a swell replacement for Dinorama and Nemo Theatre. It's probably be a good replacement for Dinosaur too, if they were to imagine the heck out of it! Do I think Zootopia is a good fit for DAK? Nope. But making it work would be as simple as tying it to a sequel movie.

Nope. I mean making a movie that fits the theme of Animal Kingdom using the Zootopia characters showing a message of conservation or "whatever" and building a land around that movie's concept!

Think: Rescuers Down Under use in an Australian land. Don't Think: Frozen in Norway
