They could easily cut Zootopia and just build the Moana portion and keep Dinosaur if the budget dictates, though.

This is absolutely an option and the reason why the concept is the way it is. The Dinoland project was always two phases. We just have to hope this Phase 2 goes the way of most phase 2's.

My guess is Dinosaur & Restaurantosaurus are "phase 2", most of Moana is where Chester & Hester's is and the Boneyard becomes "Journey of Sand Inspired By Moana"

So . . . is the idea that "Dinosaur!" would become Zootopia, and that Triceratops Spin would become the new spinner, with the Moana Boat Ride going where Primeval World was?

How is that idea in any way cohesive?

Goodness I hope so. I’m fine with the Moana boat ride and the spinner being rethemed but the ZooTopia ride replacing Dinosaur just makes me want to puke

Honestly, this was the worst Disney news day I've had in a long time.

Losing Dinosaur for a Zootopia ride...I sound dramatic but this could finally be our breaking point.

I have to get out of here for a while.

Now that I’ve ridden Indy (6x), I’m even more convinced that Dinosaur isn’t really that good. It’s so dark, you can’t see anything, and what you can see pales compared to what could be there. The effects and queue could be amazing.

I’m not a fan of Zootopia (AT ALL), but maybe they can nail it! If not, please clean up Dinosaur, and plus it a little.

I'm right there with you. I've never been scared about what Disney was announcing as they were announcing. I think a DAK expansion could be good, but the way they announced it with no confidence or concrete details was AWFUL and makes me nervous for the future of the park while Epic Universe has me hyped as a not major universal fan.

I thought that looked like an indoor building for "underwater" attractions. They showed a kid looking at a partially submerged hippo.
