Your ideal resort/room stay for a WDW vacation

My ideal stay would be at the Poly, concierge level in a Magic Kingdom view room. It has never happened and with the prices these days, I don't think I will ever get to stay in a Deluxe resort.. way too much, unless of course a great "Buy 4 nights, get 3 free" deal ever happened again! For now, I just always make sure I book a meal there to soak up that wonderful atmosphere for a little while at least.

If I could afford it, I would have to say Poly club level Mk view. Nothing would be better than waking up to the sights and sounds of the MK and at night being able to sit on the deck and watch the fireworks or EWP.

A tower room with a MK view at the Contemporary. Duration one and a half weeks. I've been in the Garden wing and it was wonderful. A close second would be a two bedroom suite at the Wilderness Lodge or BLT as both are favorites.

Where's most the moderate resorts in this case? I love the Coronado. Yea, its like a motel but then you get to have a nice walk around a lake, has a gorgeous Spanish flare that isn't overdone, and lobby to me has the most Disney feel to it. I grew up going there and just that smell of the fountain in the Lobby, the Mexican music, the echoes of voices, and the lovely view of the patio over the lake just never loses its Disney Magic feeling. It's my dream Resort because it really the only resort I know.

Anyways if I was forced to go to a different resort, I'd choose the Animal Kingdom Lodge, I'd want a room high enough above a ground, but still capable of seeing the animals roaming around. I visited there once. My parents want a break from the parks sometime so we'll just go explore the resorts! I wouldn't mind a stay there!

Big, calm, pretty. I really like the rooms at RPH. I'd like them to be bigger, but those are my favorite rooms. I cannot imagine liking one more.

So, re-do the Poly rooms to be more like that (which I think they are, lol), make them bigger...that's my ideal Disney room. I also want Tuvalu, upper floor, MK view...since I get to pick. :D

Polynesian Club Level with MK view. I've been fortunate enough to stay at Poly once and had a great garden view room, and LOVED it. This would take it to the next level of awesome.

Am booked for this is in May. Will let you know if it's worth it. Will be hard to beat 3rd floor Tuvalu.

Yup. I've stayed in a LOT of Disney rooms, in all the hotels, with various views. I've done the club level thing.

My favorite view of all of it was there. It may even have been that room, for all I know. But that's the best. It's like there is nothing between you and the water and its just all so pretty.

Hawaii is nice and the other one, off to the right...Tahiti?...is fine, but Tuvalu beats them all. IMO. :D

I'm pretty much a POP kinda gal...just sings Disney to me :D However if given the opportunity I'd love to stay in a penthouse suite (are there any?) on the very very top of the Contemporary - what a view! OR and honestly what I would most want to do...stay in the suite inside Cinderella's Castle. I know I'd only get it one night but what a night! :)

My first trip to WDW ever was when I took my 3 kids there on our first vacation after my husband passed away. We had a tower room at the CR with a MK view on the 12th floor - and that's when I fell in love with the MK and Cinderella Castle. We've also stayed at the Poly concierge with a MK view, which was great. But there's NOTHING better in the world than waking up early in the morning and looking into the MK, or watching the fireworks practically overhead from your balcony with a glass of wine! I've waited years, but I finally get to go back to a tower room with MK view with my new husband next Dec! Can't wait!
