Your favorite Queue?

I Like the Pirate Ride. I used To like the queue in Space Mountain...before they changed it...the FedX one...and I sort of like the music on the ramp...sort of soothing. But the Pirate Ride...that's the best.

Oh that ride with The Pirates? That Pirate ride queue is the best queue. When you get closer and closer to the pirates. I like that part best.

I have two for very different reasons.

1) The old Haunted Mansion queue. I loved the minimalist approach. The few elements that were there were just creepy enough to allow me to fill in the gaps in my imagination. I used to love looking over the railing into the graveyard, reading the gravestones while the dog howled. So well done. Loved waiting in anticipation. And of course the attraction is one of Disneys best.


2) Kali River Rapids. This queue is the opposite of minimalist. It is packed with detail and props. I enjoy the long pathway while hearing the chainsaws. Getting to the raft excursion agency. Looking at the beautiful authentic Nepalese art. Listening to the sounds of the guides on tv. Reading the hand written messages on the walls. Looking up at the beautiful paintings. Looking out the window at the Buddha. Checking out the bird aviary. I think this is the only attraction with live animals in the queue. It's amazing with a detailed backstory. The guest can put together as much story as they choose to focus on. And it builds anticipation for the ride. But, the ride is way too short and the effects don't work most of the time. I love Kali contrary to most here. I want it longer, all effects working and wetter. Or soakier!

Me too. If they have them in the queue they must have them on that Pirate Ride. They do, of course they do have pirates. They sing songs.

Mine would have to be Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. I have yet to come across a queue that has impressed and fancied me more.

This is a clear #1 for me with ToT coming in second.

They all capture the mood of the ride perfectly. Could spend ages just listening to the music from the Space Mountain and Pirates queues.

Hands down the Indiana Jones Ride at both Disneyland or Disney Sea in Tokyo. But if I had to pick one at WDW it would be Toy Story Mania, problem is the wait is always so damn long...

Epcot - Mission Space

DHS - Backlot Tour (I like looking at all the old props), Tower of Terror

DAK - Expedition Everest, it's tough to be a bug (great views of the tree of Life), Kali River Rapids (Tiger Temple)

Splash Mountain
The Great Movie Ride

For DL, Indy is jaw dropping for details and scope.

PotC. Best. Queue. EVER. I love looking at the old cannons. And the music...
I love the Splash Mountain one too, but the last time I went I slipped on the walkway :/ stupid wet ground.
