Yes
Splash Mountain - The Laughin' Place and the build up to the drop; I think they're two of the most well themed scenes in any Disney ride
SSE - the loading area; it's just so cool looking!
GMR - yet again the loading area because it looks really cool

It makes me sad that we, as a society, for the most part, cannot appreciate that stuff anymore. When it was new, it honestly, was just one of the many things about the place that were unique. At least they were to me. I marveled at all that stuff. The different ways to board all the Omni rides. SSE was different, Imagination was different, World of Motion, was way different. Places like Living Seas with it's hydrolators and ride though the middle of an unobstructed aquarium and even leaving via the hydrolators. Peter Pan boarding the ships, Boarding the boats at Pirates, Thunder Mountain boarding the train, Space Mountain boarding the space ships, GMR's unique boarding, even RnRC with the stretch limo's and even CoP and the mind boggling theater that moves from scene to scene. Where else do you get to see that stuff? I guess we just appreciated all of the aspects, not just to substance, but, how we got to the substance. I really miss that and cringe whenever I hear or read about someone saying to get rid of that kind of stuff and feel scared because I feel that we have to support those things otherwise we will lose them forever. For many, if all that was there were a bunch of heart stopping coasters that would be all that they need. The art of the show is wasted on many people that just need that adrenaline rush.

You're right. The details, the atmosphere, the show, and imagination involved in creating the attractions are fascinating and sets Disney's parks apart from most. The more we've slowed down during our visits, the more we see and we thoroughly enjoy it. While I would love a thrill ride addition, I would NOT want to give up my CoP for it. No way.

Hmm...

I love the view of the rain forest scene on living with the land...right where you kinda come around the curve into view and the sound of the waterfalls/rain goes from background noise to really grabbing your attention...and those monkey/alligator animatronics.

That part of Universe of Energy where you pass under the chewing brachiosaurs...that have been chewing those leaves for years...

The launch on Rock n' Rollercoaster...

Mission space where the show lighting highlights your crew member assignment...always thought that was a nice touch.

Swiss Family Robinson tree house in Adventureland at night...right in the bedroom with the hammock...I've often thought about how cool it would be to camp out right there for the night...

The star tunnels of Space Mountain...

The temple at the top of the lift hill on Everest...I love the details...

Hmmm... So many, I'll wing a couple:
Pirates: I'll agree the "Deaaaad men tell no taiiiils" segment going past the pirate at the helm is a big one.
So too is the way the scene unfolds into this amazing set after the drop.

EE: The climb, the view from the portion of the track between the mountains, and that stop at the broken track segment.

Tot: All of it. I remember my mind being blown the first time I rode it and my car went forward.
What the???!!!

RnR: Sitting in the car during the countdown.

Space Mountain: The clacking of the slow ascent.

Test Track: That high speed blast.

Haunted Mansion: The stair scene - I love the reverb on the piano playing and you ascend. So cool.
Pirates: The Battle scene
Spaceship Earth: Rome burning - The smell is fantastic.
Dinosaur: When the Carnotaurus stomps towards you. SO thrilling.

Exactly.... Too few guests really appreciate the uniqueness of Disney or the designing brilliance of the Imagineers. I'm amazed sometimes when friends come back and I ask them about their thoughts on seeing certain details and they say.... huh? Nope never saw that. Either they arent aware of those neat details built into every attraction or their eyes are so glued to their devices, they arent seeing anything around them.
They step into line and they ignore everything around them until the CM asks... How many in your party?

The big drop on Splash Mountain. On that big drop, I feel as if all my daily concerns and problems of life are flying off me. Then I get to the bottom of the hill and head in to "My, Oh, my it's a wonderful day", as if now I'm making a new beginning attitude in my life. Reading this over sounds corny, but hopefully fellow Disney fans will understand.
