They had a show on MTV or VH1 the other day about the history of Aerosmith on TV.

Yes I also agree the covers were horrible. But the one worst thing about that show was David Spade "roasting" the band. It was so lame. I thought at one point in his bit I heard crickets chirping.

I thought Shakira's cover was teh best of the bunch...i don't like her music, but I liked that tune.....

I thought the special as a whole ROCKED.......david spade sucked....I just saw aerosmith live a couple months ago, so I still have the memories fresh in my mind.

Covering a lot of ground when asking for one favorite over such a lengthy career, so I'll take it upon myself to choose 2..."What It Takes" & "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing".

I checked with the wife and her favorite is Taste of India.

Personally, I thought the best cover was Kid Rock up until he tried to make it his own. If he could just screech a little higher it would have been difficult to tell the two songs apart.

Shakira sang? I didn't notice anything outside of her roots showing and the fact that the outfit was skin-tight!

right now my current favorites are "beyond beautiful" and "avant gardens" i really liked those songs after i saw them in concert last summer, they put on a great show for being over 50. and
"Joe !#@$%# Perry" as steven says, the guitar solos he puts out are awesome.
but every song they have i like, so i just could have wrote them all down.

Back in the Saddle
Love in an Elevator
Taste of India
Janie's Got a Gun
Eat the Rich
Sweet Emotion
Dude Looks Like a Lady

As some of you know; I met my husband through Aerosmith. He had an extra ticket because the girl he was dating was dumping him and my girlfriend suggested me. That was in February 1994.....................................

Gosh, I don’t think there is any way I could pick just one but I feel the need to give special credit to: Falling In Love (Is Hard On The Knees)

“Don’t give me no lip – I got enough of my own” has to be the single best line from any Steve Tyler song. :D

Thank you so much for the kind words but you haven't missed much in my absence. I've been working all kinds of crazy hours and it's been weeks now since I've had a day off so when not asleep, I've been pretty crabby. That's part of why I've stayed off. I was getting a little testy over silly stuff and I was making a big fool of myself in front of people I consider friends. Heck, my first night back (last night) I got right into the middle of a fight  In any event, I've go to be back to work at six tomorrow morning so I'm off to bed! :) It should all be over soon so don't worry. I'll be providing enough reading material to put everyone to sleep again soon! :sohappy:

I am a HUGE aerosmith fan, so it will be hard to pick favs. And as somebody else mentioned before, I also just saw them in concert last november, so there are memories fresh in my mind as well. OK anyways some of my favs are...
Janie's Got A Gun
Fallen Angels (GREAT SONG!)
and of course Dream On must be on the list because I believe it is the greatest rock song of all time, just my opinion though.
